The Power Is Within You

What can I say about this book that others haven't already said? It's an amazing book. Filled with love and compassion. It's like sitting down and talking to a dear friend. Each word just flows. It's so uplifting and inspirational. She explains things in a way that is so understandable and relatable. I have this book and You Can Heal Your Life and I love them both. It's like the author is gently taking your hand and leading you in the direction that is best for you. I highly recommend that you get this book. You will be so glad you did. I would give this book ten stars if I could.

I love this book! The language is simple, her truth telling is identifiable, we are all wounded birds in some form. Her candid revelations and aha moments are inspiring . I’ve underlined this book, wrote notes everywhere, and more importantly, I’m learning. Learning how to let the traumas of my past go, and realizing I’m so deserving of love. I truly recommend for anyone on a self love/healing journey . Thank you Louise for the legacy of love and healing you left for ours learning her worth like me.

Louise, You did it again.I adore the simplicity that you use to explain how to make the pilgrimage of the thought process to reach the life of spiritual enlightenment, physical health and the abundance of goodness. Loving and forgiving yourself are the first two steps. Release the past, forgive and let go, move on. She covers every aspect of life, such as: Learning to listen to yourself and to trust yourself, talking to the child within you, parenting, and how to create a safer world to love and live your life. She has convinced me that the powers are within myself to create a better life. I am in my third year and see improvement in my life and I believe I have a ways to go. I never give up. It is the reading of this book that has just brought me a step further. She speaks of the infinite wisdom that resides in each of us. She is very convincing in encouraging you to trust that wisdom. She advises you of that awareness of a ,"need for change". It is the awareness that you'll develop that helps you see.

Amazing Book!! -- Life Changing.

I enjoyed this book, although I thought she was a Christian author. She says many things the bible does say, but in a different way. I just call him Jesus, not the universe. He does love and help us. We do need to change how we think. When you change your thinking, you change your life. This is the essence of this book, and Ms. Hay directs you very clearly on "how to". I liked this book.

This book hit so many key points that need to be fixed in life, to have a fulfilling and whole life. The mindset has so much to do with everything. Amazing book, highly recommend you buy, no regrets

I have enjoyed her teaching for decades now Her clarity and her simplicity make it easy to understand what it is she is trying to teach and that makes it simple to implement the process and the principles. Her tenets are timeless and will work for a person who is twenty or sixty. The more you learn to love yourself the stronger you become to help others

Louise Hay has been around for a long time as she talks about Tony Robbins just starting out with his conferences. Here she walks you through what she went through to heal herself. She also talks about how she came to be where she is with all that happened to her. I enjoyed the simple knowledge to help resolve issues within myself and my life. I found out there were some sub issues I didn’t see before brought to the surface to be resolved. I’m sure this book will benefit you!

I first read this book a few years ago, and it didn't make mush sense. I read it again during the first lockdown and over weeks, I started to see how helpful and applicable the content is to anyone who has been or going through a rough time in life for whatever reason. and I am reading it for a second time currently. The layout is structured, and written in plain, easy to understand language. Louise tells her truth honestly and to the point, with all the wisdom of someone who knows first-hand how difficult life can be; and how inspite of everything, there are things an individual can do to help herself/himself. For the records, at no point she advocates not seeking medical help. Neither she claims she has all he answers. Her point is about taking simple steps to look after yourself first. Infact, if anyone is having counselling for bad things that happened to them in the past, this book helps them to keep grounded in the present time first which is the point of power. Many of the new self-help books are just a re-hash of what Louise has written in this book. Read this book with the intention of learning from it, and you get far more than your money's worth.

Louise Hay is brilliant. I love her work and her words. This book helped me to open my eyes and notice what is going on around me and within me, my heart is now more open to love. Louise has a way that helps to open your mind to unlimited possibilities.
