Lightweight Pet Sling Carrier, Maximum Carrying Weight 33-Pound, Black

My French Bulldog is a 9 month year old strong fellow, weighing well over 35 lbs already. He loves this thing and fits securely and comfortably in it. First product I've had that actually doesn't worry me with creating any "creaking fiber ripping sounds."This is hands down the best product out there bought after buying the Outward Hound sling and doing hours of research on others. Only thing that can work in terms of assisting my thick-furred Dominican Republic bred Frenchie on days where either he is just flat out lazy & needy, or "legitimately needs help via travel transport on days where it is either way too hot or rainy outside.Thank you so much 4 Lazy Legs for creating this!!!! Very grateful as you solved all of my previous transport problems & more. ;-)

I am returning this item today. It does not seem worth the price - it is not a substantial material, and smells toxic. There is no support, and does not seem safe for our 14 lb. dog. We could not even figure out how to work the flimsy hook that, I assume, is supposed to attach to her collar. The only good thing is the wide shoulder strap.I would pay much more money to find a safe, comfortable carrier - all of the ones on Amazon look either unsafe or uncomfortable.

Finding it somewhat clumsy to use. The dog doesn't seem entirely comfortable.The material is stiff. could be softer and more flexible.

My 14 pound dog fit but not comfortably. I can't imagine this product handling a larger dog. The fabric is coarse and heavyweight similar to backpack material. The padded portion of the shoulder strap is only about 6 inches. I had trouble positioning the padding over my shoulder. Initially the strap dug into my neck and when I lengthened it to accommodate my dog the padding covered my chest. There are drawstrings to adjust the closure but they are only located near the strap and not the entire opening. The sling comes in a cellophane bag with a 2 1/2 inch cardboard label stapled to the top. The front has the same 4 photos found in the online description. The back has 6 tiny, poor quality black and white photos demonstrating how to wear the sling. There are no written instructions other than safety guidelines. I had to place my dog's fleecy training mat inside the sling to get him to go inside it. We took a test run from the living room to the bedroom and back--it was all we could tolerate as it is not comfortable. I purchased it to use in crowded places like stores and restaurants where my small, medical alert service dog could be stepped on. I will keep reading other reviews and maybe come across ideas that will help us be able to use this for longer trips than to the next room. It did come very quickly using Amazon Prime. I hope it works for you.

Worked out really well for my 4 pound dog. I take her to work with me (I work for an all natural and hollisitic let supplement brand called Licks Pill Free Solutions) and my dog doesn't mind being in it. I like that there is a strap that can attach to the dogs collar/harness. And the adjustable parts are also helpful to fit you and your dog perfectly. Only complaint is that it's not a very soft material.

I have an 18 week old Pembroke Welsh Corgi that I needed help with to carry downstairs during midnight potty runs. Up until now I had to use both arms to carry him down, which was unsafe for both of us due to me not being able to utilize the handrail. With this, I am able to get my puppy's back legs and behind in the sling, while I hold the rest of him with one arm. Now I am able to safely get us down the stairs without any fear of slipping. I could probably get his whole body in there right now, with how large the sling expands to, but just using it to stabilize his back side works just fine.The strap that goes around my shoulder feels comfortable and is very thick, which I like a lot even though I only use this for short periods of time (night time potty brakes only). Still, it's perfect for my situation.

I almost sent this back because my 10lb Chi seemed to not fit and appeared afraid of it. I decided to take it with me and try it out while walking the dogs and to my surprise she slid right in and sat perfectly and enjoyed the ride next to me. I like it because it isn't bulky and it does the job.

Nice idea, but this item is poorly constructed with low quality material that is not attractive to cats.
