We live in a 50 year old house, but despite having a top of the line new and modern HVAC, the temperature in my toddler's room (roughly 10X10 feet) fluctuates enough to the point where I worry about him kicking his blankets off in the middle of the night and being cold. I've owned oil based heaters before and liked them, but none of them had a built-in thermostat that would cycle on and off to keep a consistent comfortable temperature in the room. The size of this heater is just perfect for the small size of his room.After testing out the heater this past week, I am confident that a made a good choice. In the mornings his room is pleasantly warm (around 69-70 degrees F, as measured by the clock thermometer that I keep in his room), and not at all too hot, which was my initial concern. I close the room to my son's door so he sleeps with the heater on like that all night, and in the mornings I don't wake up to a cold or sweating toddler!Be sure the follow the included directions to get the thermostat feature to activate properly. My routine is to turn on the heater, twist the temp setting to max heat, leave it there for about 10 to 15 minutes, then dial the temp setting knob back to about the half way point (listen for the "click" sound, so you know the thermostat feature is activated), and then just leave it like that all night.Also, as an added bonus, when I turned on the heater for the first time, there was no gross odors that came from the heater. Previous brands of oil heaters I have used suggested that the owners run the heaters in a garage or other airy place to "burn-off" the factory chemical smell first. No need to do that with this heater! Just plug and go.

For $50.00 bucks how can you not like it. Only had to assemble two things for the feet. That is the only negative as the rear foot slides on but still feels loose. It is well boxed and easy to operate. After 10 minutes it was at 197 degrees fahrenheit and after 20 minutes it was over 230 Degrees (no picture of that.) cord is 6 feet long and the on off switch has dim light that lets you see it night so you do not trip over it but not so bright that is keeps you up. We will have to see how long it last but so far I really like it and will probbly get another one for work.

Last week, it is my grandmom's 80-year-old birthday. Before this, i always think what kind of gift chosen for her. It happens that the wheather is coming cool, I decided to buy a space heater for her. This oil heater really attracted me deeply.How cute the heater features. I think my grandmom must love it and enjoy using it. Therefore, I ordered the heater without any hesitation. The delivery is so quick, and we received the package after 3 days.Undoubtedly, my grandmom was so excited to receive this gift. She said " this is awesome. It must warm me a whole winter!" My grandmom did have a great time while staying with the oil filled radiator heater. This is a right gift, Thanks Air Choice.To be honest, my family have been the fans of this brand,we expected that Air Choice creates more new products in the future.

Nice little heater. These oil heaters make no noise and are great for sleeping but... Thought it was bigger when purchased. It heats the laundry room but will do nothing for the bedroom so ordered a larger one. Would recommend it for small spaces but if you want a larger room warmed you will need to buy something that actually puts out some heat.

I was always a fan of oil heaters over the blowing ones, and was happy to find this. I find that in a space about 100 to 120 square feet it boosts the temperature by 5 degrees. I use this in two places. 1) in our camper, the inside of which is about 8' wide and 16' long. This heater is perfect to take the edge off on chilly nights. We found that our little blower heater was too hot and noisy, and this heater improves the temperature by about 5 or 6 degrees, just enough to make sleeping comfy for the kids when camping in Fall. 2) in a home office, which is a cold room in our house that is stays at 63 degrees in winter. This heater raises the temp to a comfortable 68 degrees. I keep it under the desk and it's even warmer by me. After a while I sometimes need to move it away. Great little heater for specific use. If you want to heat a room that's bigger than 120 s.f. or raise the temp more than 5 degrees, just go with a bigger heater.

I bought this to keep my kitty warm at night when I have the house temp set to 66 degrees. I have it on low but it's enough for him. He lies on a towel and snuggles right up to the fins. Everybody wins, since I'm sure this won't raise my electric bill very much compared to the larger heater I had been using before.It's so small, easy to move, and economical. I'm glad I took the chance.

Significantly smaller than I though, it's only about a foot tall. It's small enough to sit on top of a table or desk (do this at your own risk - Don't set your house on fire).Because of it's size, it's best suited IMO to fit a small room, such as 6x8 or 10x10. Much bigger and I feel that it wouldn't be powerful enough on cold days.I don't think it would be easy to set your house on fire with this product, which was a big selling point for me.
