I Love these! They have glass top, a seal and two clamps. I use them for leftovers too in fridge. You dont need to use seal or clamps then. Just put the glass lid on. They are the cutest little jars I told my daughter about them. Love them! I can think of no bad things. Now, for canning i dont know if you can water bath with them.

The Good: Love Weck jars for their ease of cleaning and how they don’t absorb odors. If you need to clean these, just remove the rubber gasket and metal brackets, and run them in the dishwasher.The Bad: very hard to tell by the description just how big/small these are, so it was a risk. Also, the metal clamps on top make these unstackable.

These are quite small and are good for small condiments.The design is different than regular Mason jars, however I find it to be better for several reasons.1. All of the pieces come apart for easy cleaning2. The rubber and stainless steel clips keep aluminum from being used3. The lid is completely removable for serving4. Stackable5. The glass is lightweight and sturdyI found the clips very ergonomic and easy to use. I look forward to purchasing more weck jars in the future.

I use these for sous vide egg bites, the unbroken ones work great for the purpose.

These jars are well worth the money in my opinion. I have been wanting to get jars with reusable seals for a while now. I will be replacing my old canning jars with these jars.

I purchased these to use with a potential Christmas gift, but ended up keeping them and using them for some of my herbs and spices. They are so cute and keep things nice and fresh. Some people might not enjoy the clamp system (my sister), so be aware of that, but I love them and recommend them if that wouldn’t be a problem for you.

Bought these specifically to try an egg bite recipe that required sous vide preparation. These were recommended as far easier than regular screw top jars. These worked perfectly. The egg bites turned out perfectly, so next up, jars of coconut flan. The clips ere hard for men to get on at first but I discovered that when you get the first on the second will easily go one next to it - then you can slide it around to the position opposite.

Theses jars a great. Whether you are preserving or just storing they work. I did not realize how small they are. I love them none the less.
