Cuts + More Titanium All Purpose Scissors w/ Sharpener and Take Apart Knife

i had a pair for a year or two and the built-in sharpener broke- might have been pushing too hard, might be a design flaw. I have others of the same and they still work great. I was sad i could not find more available locally so i ordered a pair online. the tape ripper is super handy but only for tape. if you use it on plastic bags or sting-enforced tape you are likely to bend it. these are some precision scissors that work so well you'll stop liking other scissors.

Overall, very happy with this item. I almost bought one of those fancy, cool looking spatchcocking scissors but they all had some bad reviews that warned me away from them. Having several pair of Fiskar scissors that work great, and with the good reviews on this pair, I went for it. I've used it to spatchcock on 5 lb chicken and about 7 cornish game hens and they worked great and are still sharp. The scissors are heavier duty than the usual Fiskar scissors and they cut through the chicken bones easy enough. It does require some decent pressure so I can't say it cuts thru the bones easily. My 88 lb nerdy wife probably could not do it. The loops of the handles are slightly bigger and that helps a lot. But it could be bigger. I'm a small guy at 5' 5"" and my fingers barely fit and you want to get you fingers in there to exert pressure. Overall I'm happy with it and would buy it again.

I love these scissors. They come apart easily and go in the dishwasher. So i purchased a second pair to use while the dishwasher is running. Great for food prep in the kitchen but they work very well on paper and fabric.

At this cost, why would you buy imitation ones for more at Bed Bath & Beyond? Forgot those and the Dollar Store cheapos which you will only land-fill many editions the often times they break or are useless after Christmas morning. This and all Fiskars are lethal sharp the entire length of the blade(rare), and you can keep it that sharp for a lifetime because it is so easy to take apart and sharpen. I got two of these reviewed Fiskars. I use one in the kitchen, which replaced the cheapo 'gift' knife set one, to quarter poultry, peel fruit, cut pizza, tortillas, and when I can't find my Fiskars 'ShopBoss' I cut 18-22 gauge wire, sheet aluminum, plastic panels, auto trim and upholstery just as well as its prograde brother, but with less leverage, but thats another 5 star review for later.

I've had a pair of these scissors for over 20 years. I thought I lost them, so I promptly purchased this pair as I thought being without them would be intolerable. Shortly after purchasing, I found the old pair. Having two is no hardship. I am 68 have large hands, which are arthritic to some degree. These scissors are comfortable and sharp and I use them to trim many garden stems that most people would have shears for. I have never sharpened the original pair and they won't cut plastic anymore, but have no trouble with stems. They are built so you can separate the blades and I do keep them clean. I can't say enough good things about them, but I would not go so far as to recommend them for anyone with severe arthritis. I'm also muscular for a woman and that may add another dimension to their effectiveness.
