This form of calcium, magnesium and potassium are found in cell wall membranes. Dr. Hans Neiper showed that cell walls can be strengthened by taking these specific forms of minerals. If cells are excessively permeable, they are subject to being penetrated by proteins and allergens, causing the release of histamine within the cell to expel the offending protein. Helped to eliminate back aches
I have been taking Membrane Complex for many, many years because a natropath suggested it. I never really knew what it was doing until I ran out of it! When I run out of it my back starts hurting and I get heart palpatations -- it's probably related to the way my body metabolizes magnesium and calcium. So, I'm not really sure how it works but I can definitely see a difference when I stop taking it. For some reason, the bottle with this label works better for me than the Membrane Complex with a different label. Not sure why but I've tried the other bottle twice and it didn't work as well for me.
