4 wire vs the OEM 5 wire, but works!
Although the stator wire harness was missing a ground wire (by design), it worked great and I'm back in business. Tracing the OEM ground wire, it looks like a secondary ground, as the stator plate is already grounded.

Was the correct replacement part but didn't last long...
This was exactly the part I needed but it only lasted one season of use. The next season I found the battery wasn't charging anymore so had to resort to charging it before going out riding and then making sure to quit before the battery runs down.A bit frustrating because my jet ski requires me to pull the entire engine to replace this, not looking forward to needing to replace it again this season.

Dysfunctional out of the box
Installed this as part of a full engine rebuild, after reassembling and many hours of debugging, found out the timing was off by 70 degrees because the sparking coil was broken (no continuity through coil). Was forced to pull the engine again and I ended up replacing the sparking coil with the one off my old stator and the timing was back on point. Unbelievable lack of quality control and major pain in my butt.
