SET Mini Round Card Game

SET is a great speed game that's a lot of fun and really challenges the mind. I've been playing SET for awhile with the full version deck (81 cards) but I was really excited when this Mini Round version came out (27 cards). It's the same game I already loved (just condensed), and this version is so much easier to teach friends and family how to play. It includes only the solid cards so it makes spotting the "sets" a little easier. Its the perfect game to play when you have a couple minutes before your food arrives or when your at the airport waiting for your flight. I still love my full game version, but whenever I'm teaching someone new how to play or have limited time or space, this is my go-to game!

This SET game is not just smaller in size but a "light" version of the one I have played. Maybe the product description made this clear and I missed it. This version has fewer cards; the cards do not vary by pattern, only by color, number, and shape. So it will not provide the mental challenge that the original provides. I have been looking for activities to do with my father, whose cognitive abilities are declining, so this version might be perfect for him.It is quite portable (and cute!)So if what you want is the original game, you will be disappointed. But if this lighter game is what you want (or if you are new to SET and might want to work up to the harder version), then I think the purchase is worth it.

Easy to learn but not super easy to play. I love this game and take it with me when I travel

All solids and half the cards. I was excited for a smaller version of the game in a tin, but this was utterly disappointing at much more than the cost of the regular game.

SET is a great game; however, these "mini cards" are just too small to be useful. They also are the the smaller three characteristic version. Get the computer or full card version for a great experience, especially for kids.

I was so excited to see this travel version but my bad... I didn't read that it is only the solid cards or I would have never bought it... I have been playing set for years and give it away as gifts often... one of the best games out there and kids can pick it up quick. I taught my girls when they were 4-5... I am a substitute teacher and bring it with me for downtime and have had 15+ kids playing at once! It's so good for logical thinking and using left and right brain together...This mini set is so disappointing. Even for beginners it is not challenging enough, as they master it in no time. The cards are thin and flimsy and difficult to shuffle. And the tin can??? broke on the first time using. I would love to see the full size SET game come in a well thought out case. The box it comes in is okay but for the amount that I use it, it wears out quick. GET THE FULL SET GAME IT IS AWESOME! Download the app and you can play everyday! Such a great game...

I LOVE this game. Mostly I love the fact it survived ranch dressing leaking on it in my tote bag. ;-) The dressing leaked all over the bag but the cards were nice and dry when I opened it - although they did smell of garlic! I bought it because a friend of mine is an ardent fan of the full size game and I travel endlessly in my job and this fits in my purse or tote. I played it while waiting in the airport for my flight and it was a great distraction and killed time beautifully. I see the maker of the game has other little games and now I have to buy those too. Fits perfectly on a seat while waiting at the gate for the next flight. Can't wait to try the others. Happy gaming!

My daughter saw this game when talking to her counselor at school and fell in love with it. The is the travel version and is great for when on road trips in hotels. My daughter was able to understand the game and even easily teach is how to play.
