She’s very pretty but her hair is not 100% human
Her hair is not 100% human, but I believe that is to be expected due to the price. I also wouldn’t say it’s 24”, maybe 20” at best and it thins out a lot at the ends. It does curl, but I didn’t wash her hair before and it smelled TERRIBLE, like burnt plastic and chemical fumes (another indication of it not being 100% human hair). She also has weirdly short individual hairs, as well as strands that are different colored. This doesn’t photograph so I don’t really care about that. Other reviews said that they had problems with lice, and thankfully mine didn’t show ANY sign of it but I would say triple check just in case.I would say this is great for the time being but if you plan on living out of styling and of doing hair, invest in a better one. I think my 12 year old nieces would enjoy doing her hair and makeup, so if you want to get it as a gift this would be perfect! Specially if they won’t use heat, as it will last longer I believe. She is also very pretty, I might glue a pair of dollar tree lashes on her so she looks even better.

Don’t look like the one in the picture!
I order the black hair one I also wanted the blond one too but it was out of stock, so when I ordered the black hair one and I gotten it it looks nothing like the one in the picture I’m disappointed here!

Finally found a mannequin with REAL HAIR!
I am a cosmetology student who needs to use mannequins with human hair. The last two mannequins I ordered from another seller were advertised as real hair but were not. A huge disappointment and waste of time and money. Only when scrolling down to read reviews are you able to tell if a mannequin is actually human hair or not -- so hopefully this will help others looking for human hair! Length is decent and density is ok. After ordering synthetic ones advertised as real, I am just thrilled to have found this one. Will be great for practicing my cuts, colors, and using heat styling! Hope this helps other stylists and students.

great to practice!
I’m a professional hairstylist and because of the pandemic I’ve been out of work for almost 2 months now. I thought this time could be great to practice and learn new techniques, so why not get a cheap doll head? (Usually professional doll heads are $150+) When I received the mannequin I immediately shampoo and condition her and did a cut. The next day I highlighted her hair and let me tell you, she lifted amazing! No orange or brassiness. This is the perfect doll to practice new techniques but you’re not 100% sure what the results are going to be. You get what you pay for, so her hair quality obviously isn’t the greatest and it’s not going to be super soft but it works perfect to learn and you won’t feel bad if you mess up. I myself am proud of the look I’ve done on her. She does shed, but then again you’re getting what you’re paying for, so not complaining. I think that a normal client will shed also. Make sure to use high quality products to style, I find oils/serums make her hair softer and shinier. Would recommend for anyone who just wants to practice and learn new techniques!

Get your heavy duty bobby pins out...
This mannequin head was exactly what I needed. Using it to practice updo's and braids for our upcoming theater performance. I'm helping with hair and makeup. I read the reviews saying the hair was sparse. Yes, and no, I think. The hair is very adequate, even thick, in my opinion, but I'm not a cosmetologist. The scalp is very visible with updos and Bobby pins difficult to secure to its head. The hair is thick and much like Asian hair. It's really soft but course. It's hard to describe, but while the hair is still course, the scalp appears sparse. Strange, but I still love it. Very realistic for course hair. If you can anchor an updo with this hair, you can surely u can do it for other finer hair types. Helps me practice what I need to. The facial skin is soft and supple and I plan to practice some makeup techniques on it. Overall, the mannequin is beautiful.

Textures and what to do
A lot of people can't look at just one pick so I took multiple pictures. Her hair is the length I was looking for. I did a harley quinn inspired hair look. Just got finished dying it. The pink was a manic panic cotten candy and blue punky color Turquoise. The texture of the hair is thick it feels and looks synthetic but I can ensure you it is 100% human. I would not bleach the hair because it will be gummy and damaged beyond repair. Hot tools such as blow dryer, have it on medium to low. Straightener or curling, have it at a low heat between 350-375. Otherwise I cannot wait to explore more of this head, and I am impressed how vibrant the colors came out.Additional note, her hair is not bleached blonde but it is a golden blonde if you hold it in the sun light.

Hair is very workable
The only thing I disliked with this head, the hair was not as long as I thought it would be. It does not work for the styles I purchased it for and there is a non returnable policy. I was not aware of that when I purchased.

Look no further, great mannequin head!!!
I read many many reviews and did tons of research before I bought a mannequin head for my 9 year old. A lot of them said the hair melted, or came with lice etc..This head I didn’t have ANY issues with. I don’t think the hair is completely 100% real however, it doesn’t feel fake at all and it takes heat perfectly fine.. we curled it, and straightened it and used product on it and all and had zero problems. It had no lice, no weird smell, no shedding. This is a great mannequin head! I would 100% recommend!
