My wife bought me tabletop lighthouse that had a single battery operated LED. The electronic internals were poorly installed as the LED wasn't even positioned correctly and a small light output to boot. Naturally I was compelled to improve on the product. I envisioned individual soft yellow LEDs at each of the three side windows and a bright LED positioned in the top. A flashing light wasn't really correct for this purpose. If you've ever paid attention to a functioning light house the rotating beacon ramps up as it comes into view. With the observer's eye inline with the lens the light "flashes" for an instant and ramps back down. Just out of curiosity I Googled for a circuit that would mimic this behavior. Found one and as a lifelong electronic hobbyist I took on the task to build the circuit only to be disappointed that it refused to function. After hours of checking my work I gave up in defeat as the complexity of the circuit was advanced of my 1970's training. Not to be disappointed in the project as a whole I searched for kits or modules that would deliver the intended result. I decided on this module based on price and the fact it was assembled (eyesight isn't what it used to be). The delivered product functioned exactly as shown in the listing video. It's a bit short on the ramp up time but I'm overall delighted that this will allow completion of the project. I will also be incorporating battery eliminator for continuous use. Great product in a compact package.

Had a Dept 56 lighthouse with broken wires leading to the light in the lighthouse. This light worked wonderfully. The light in the lighthouse is “blinking” again. Not very expensive and solved my problem. Excellent!!

Absolutely amazing product! I 3d printed a light house painted it and placed model trees. I planned on incasing it in Resin but found this light. I installed the light and will be completing the resin soon. The light is awesome. It looks like a real lighthouse light not just a flashing bulb.
