How do these compare, in size, to a regular teaspoon? My mother has dementia and tends to overfill the teaspoons when eating.

Slightly smaller but really why we used them was that people were feeding my 95 yo Mom with dementia with steel teaspoons and her teeth were breaking and the spoons were too big for her. Also, the food sometimes was too hot and temperature was always safe when we used the amazon spoons. These spoons helped her eat. Smaller spoons are better because of less risk of aspiration in dementia patients (who have difficulty swallowing anyway)
