Durable and comfortable
I have been using these as a first responder for about a year now. They are starting to show wear like any other brand of work boot would in that same amount of time (scuffs and scratches and creases). They are also very comfortable and didn't require too much "breaking in." Putting them on quickly with no zipper was an issue, so I did replace the laces with a boa system to increase ease of use.

Not metal-free. Good boots though.
I was pretty happy with them, but then they adjusted the sensitivity on the metal detectors... The eyelets on these boots set off the handheld detectors (idk about shanks in the sole). But if you don't need metal-free, these are comfortable and I haven't had complaints with them. I've ridden a moped on a 2.6 mile trip to work many a day, working 8-16 hours in them. That lasted for about 8-10 months. I JUST bought a 2nd pair before having to move on due to metal detectors.

Good for the price
Had them for a 1.3 year before I had any problems the boots started falling apart about the last 3 months pealing up and just over degrading

Worth the money
Great boot, I wear these 6 days a week for work. Lasts me about 6 -9 months. Front “tongue” of the boot does rub against your ankle at first so make sure you wear a thick sock until they are broken in. Worth the money.

Your feet will thank you!!
So far I'm pretty impressed with this boot. It is extremely comfortable, nice fitting, almost feeling like I'm wearing tennis shoes. They're non-slip, and professional looking footwear. If you're in the security or law enforcement field, give these a try. Top notch for the price!!

These are not good enough to wear the Sketchers brand.
I think these are the worst shoes Sketchers ever made. I have never had any trouble with their shoes before. They are supposed to be waterproof but they are not. My feet stay wet all the time when the grass is wet. I tried to post a picture of what they look like but couldn't get it to work. The outside of the shoe is peeling off. I would not advise anyone to buy these shoes.

Peeling
Disappointed, had seven months and the outside skin is peeling off. I didn’t know leather had an ultra thin coat. I never even got them wet and they begin to peel like an onion. Otherwise good, and comfortable.

Durable
So honestly I don't ever leave any reviews for hardly anything but I saw when I was trying to re-order these shoes it said "frequently returned item"Well I am not really sure why, I have bought these shoes for the last 2 yrs. 1 pair per year because that is how long they have lasted me. I use them 5 days a week for 8 hrs a day. Through hot, cold weather, snow and rain and they get me through the day. Previously I have used other named brands but the sole would get damaged right away. But these even after me replacing them with a new pair the sole of the used ones is still in pretty good shape. What wears out is the side of the shoe it separates from the sole but that's after ONE YEAR of use. If that is not a good shoe then what is. My old ones I just use them for yard work around the house or any other type of work at my house. Do to my type of work my shoes need to be presentable and I replace them as soon as they look worn out. I am very satisfied with this product, if it ever gets discounted I'm not sure what I will do. I hope this helps someone.
