…. and consequently, it doesn't have the sheepskin noseband which was important to me. Item was returned for full refund without any argument. I don't know if they have corrected the picture yet as I found an alternative saddlery that had the bridle I wanted in stock. If they have corrected the picture, this is a really lovely bridle and makes my chestnut warmblood who is quite fine, stunning. It really suits him from both the aesthetic and to ride in. My horse doesn't like being "strapped in" and with this bridle, you don't have to tighten everything up, it can be worn with a "comfort fit" without looking like it hasn't been done up properly. My only niggle and it is a really small one, is that the throat latch is slightly too long and I have to have it on the last but one hole - I prefer it to be a little shorter to allow for stretch. Other than that, I am more than pleased with this bridle - it is worth every penny.

I often find it difficult to get a bridle that fits my mare. Usually Cob is too small and full is too big. In the comfitec, the full fits her perfectly. I would recommend you read the size guide before buying to ensure a good fit. Pepper has never got on with a flash but can be unsettled in her mouth when trying to evade. However, in this bridle she is a lot more settled and her mouth isn't strapped shut. It is quite stiff and needs a good oiling but quickly softens.

I was riding my horse in a Micklem bridle which I liked but it always looked a bit chunky on his face so thought I would try this bridle to see what it was like. I honestly couldn't be happier it suits his face more and doesn't look too chunky on him. The leather quality is good, soft and pliable straight from the packaging so no 'bedding in' period. I agree with other reviewers that the sizing is a bit weird but to be honest I found the same issue with my Micklem bridle.

Nice bridle but REALLY big size. My mare normally struggles with fit (she has a massive head and is 17’1) but this is big on her!Like the bridle though

Really good quality but sizing issue with noseband. Recommend full size if you have a cob, nose band was far too tight for my cob even with a hole punched right at the end.

Very good product, only reservation is that sizes can vary. I ordered a cob size for a 15 1 Connie cross and it was too small. The FSIs much better but check pieces a little long.

Really happy with this Bridle, lovely quality and nice soft leather. My horse is happy with it too

Very soft leather, my horse seems to be very comfortable wearing it.
