The dress I had ordered was off the shoulder and the material of the dress was heavy so it was falling off my shoulders, but because the fabric was a type that was a bit stiffer and was full length I thought it was fine until we took some photos. I actually had lost about 10 pounds so it wasn’t necessarily the seamstress’ fault. I placed the tape on the shoulders and on my chest where I didn’t want to be exposed and on the day of the event the dress looked as it should have. The tape held up the dress despite the weight! I did get a little bruising on my shoulders where I taped the dress to my skin, but I do bruise easily and assume because the dress was heavy and not lightweight.

Perfect for my more delicate items. Adheres great, no issue with skin irritation. Peeled off silk and lace with ease. No residue left behind. Great wardrobe stable.

It worked to hold two pieces of my wedding dress together, they were loose pieces, that I didn’t look how they looked. (Pieces were not stretched as if holding two seams together). Made me happy.

Ordered this to help with my wedding dress. They did not work and ended up only sticking to my skin.

Great product for delicate fabrics. No sticky residue. Great for formal dresses, used for a temporary hem for a prom dress.

Worked really well

I bought these strips to hide some unsightly collar corners on a silk dress for a wedding. In my initial test, the strips went on and came off cleanly. However, after extended wear on the day of the event, the strips adhered much stronger, so when I went to remove them, they pulled the fabric, leaving permanent pills in the silk. They also left behind a bit of adhesive residue. I think these strips would work great on cheaper fabric blends, like polyester formal dresses and such. And I will say, my skin is very sensitive, and I didn’t have a reaction to these strips being on my skin. But I was disappointed that I essentially ruined the top of a beautiful silk dress trying to use these, especially seeing as they are marketed for delicate fabrics. I would consider using these again on certain articles of clothing, but I wouldn’t recommend them across the board.

These are not sweat-resistant, and they left marks all over my shoulders and chest. I don't recommend them.

Very poor stickiness and many strips are without glue
