Q: Can it be triggered by NC - so instead of 1-8 signal connected to ground - can I use alarm type - trigger when circuit is disconnected ?

You need to use the common terminal and link it to an input once you have enabled it in the App. So NC is correct, but needs to be volt free. The unit looks for a 0v reference to an input.

My item did not have a CE mark and as a mass produced Chinese item I doubt it has been tested against any UK standards at all. If a CE mark was found on these items I would be very dubious that they were genuine.

Q: Can the input be triggered by connecting to an external machine with wires

Yes but the device you are connecting to needs to provide a volt free contact as to trigger the GSM unit you must connect an input to the GSM common(0volt) only. You can't use a common 0Volt connection. You can't use a bell trigger or strobe trigger from an alarm control panel This volt free contact needs to be momentary action i.e. once connected it must reset after a few seconds otherwise the GSM unit "hangs" in the alarm state until the trigger is reset. Hope this helps

Q: Can this be fitted to an Enforcer alarm box?

Each input trigger requires a volt-free contact such as a relay etc. You must use the common from the unit (if i remember, its term 0) and switch it to one of the inputs. Best reliable operation would be trigger a relay from the alarm panel (voltage dependant on your alarm panel, but typically 12v) and use the normally closed contact to trigger the unit, because it looks for a switch from HI to LO when you activate any of the inputs in the APP.
