The Best 2 in 1 Salt/Pepper Grinder
I compared 3 grinders on Amazon to see what was the best fit for me and this was my conclusion:Best: Eparé 2 in 1 Salt & Pepper Grinder: B07YXBMS2JNot Bad: OXO 2 in 1 Salt & Pepper Grinder & Shaker: B01N3CMA64Don’t Buy: SpiceCrafts Salt and Pepper Grinder Set: B00PID7KAMI was comparing all by their material quality, ease of adjusting, range of grind, & packaging.Eparé-This is a true dual grinder, it had some nice packaging and also really useful illustrations for the instructions. The clear part and steel looked nice, no scratches or anything. Filling this was super easy, the sides each unscrew and open a large filling jar. The caps also snap on to the mill sides in a pretty secure way. As far as the grind levels go I think there is a pretty good range, its easy enough to adjust, although the OXO design is the easiest of the 3.OXO-The packaging was a bit disappointing, it did not have any, was just in a clear bubble mailer. It had a small hangtag with basic instructions and also multiple safety seals because it came prefilled with spice. My personal preference is I like to get my own spice, but I trust OXO on their spices. This is not a true dual grinder as the salt is just a shaker, but the pepper is very easy to adjust. I would say their range was very similar to the Eparé grinders.Spicecrafts-The packaging was okay, a simple box, there were no instructions just a cheesy insert talking about their warranty. This is another true dual grinder, but I would say the Eparé one is of much higher quality. The container and steel ends were pretty scratched up, can tell that their quality control is nowhere near that of OXO or Eparé. With filling it, the function is the same as the Eparé one, but the screw on track did not line up as well with the grinder components, also I could clearly see the quality difference in the clear container when holding it next to the Eparé one, much thinner walls and not as clear. When adjusting the grind it was super difficult, both ends jammed in a more open position and then it was super difficult to make them finer. There was a decent range in the grind, but I would not be able to adjust frequently due to the difficulty.

Poor quality, don't waste your money
If you've had this type of grinder before, you'll know there is an adjustment knob in each end of the grinder. That's how you control the level of fine or course grind.Received the product, added the salt to one side and peppercorns to the other, went to adjust the knob on one end of the grinder (which requires just a very slight turn). The entire grind mechanism came apart and fell out of the housing.Buyer beware.

Attractive and sturdy mill, but kinda wobbly
I tried a handful of different electric grinders and they were just too bulky and too slow so I decided I needed a manual grinder/mill.Because we have limited table space, this 2-in-1 design caught my eye. It's easy to fill and easy to use and seems very sturdy as well as being attractive with a contemporary design. My only complaint is the end caps, which keep salt and pepper dust from getting on your table, aren't completely flat. Because of this, it is easy to knock over.If they would just change those end caps then this product would be perfect.

Solid grinder. End caps not flat.
I love having both salt and pepper grinders in one device versus 2 separate. Grinders work well.Opportunity for improvement with this device is it's stability. The caps are not flat causing the product to fall over if brushed.

This grinder WILL rust if using Celtic Sea Salt
We had a Cole & Mason grinder from Bed Bath and Beyond and loved it. I cleaned it out one day and realized there was a spring inside (to adjust the grind) - and it was rusted. I thought this grinder would also "never rust" like the one Celtic Sea Salt sells, but it has the same spring so we are returning it. I was really looking forward to using it!Tl;dr Do not use with wet ingredients, e.g. Celtic Sea Salt. Use the glass grinder they sell. It doesn't rust.

Bad Product! Bad Customer Service!
I had had high expectations for this however they were soon dashed. Upon opening the box I took one of the ends off to see the grinding mechanism. I put the lid on to look at other end and I heard a pop. It popped off without touching it! I tried to put it back together but it kept slipping off.I have tried contacting the company via email per their insert. I received a message asking for my info and then never heard back. Sent another warranty claim and still haven’t heard back on that yet.

Great from Coarse to Fine
I bought this to replace a similar grinder I bought a couple of years ago. It was a little more expensive, but I liked this design more, and the product had better ratings. The first thing I noticed were the end caps. This was something I had an issue with when using the previous grinder - the caps kept falling off. I like how these snap on tightly (even though I gave myself a blood blister by catching some skin in there). Time will tell how they hold up, though. I've read some complaints about the caps having rounded edges, but this really doesn't make a difference in stability. It stands up just fine as is. However, if one side is full of salt while the other is empty, don't put the salt-end facing up. This makes it top-heavy; if you have an issue with it falling, it's with physics and not the product. I keep my grinder on a lazy susan so I can easily get at different spices, and it stays standing when I spin it around. The second thing I noticed was how finely it ground my pepper, really releasing those aromatics. Yes, I know I spent way more time talking about the caps, but the product does what it's supposed to do.Overall, great product, better than many others out there.

Price does not match quality, returned.
I have another brand of grinder on which the coarseness can be adjusted so I know what to expect when I change it.I order this one just for the convenience of having salt and pepper in the same container.BUT:In the one I bought the knobs on both ends that are supposed to control the coarseness don’t have a stop on either side, it just keeps turning until it comes off. So there is no way to get the different degrees of coarseness. For what it costs this is just not acceptable for me, it’s going back. After reading the reviews about customer service response I didn’t even try to make contact.

Great tool but broke in the first week.
Great product but broke the first week we used it. This is the second one I bought as a gift. my first one works well and still have it but the inside of this one broke while using. Hopefully we will be able to get a replacement.

Not durable at all
I don't know if it's a defective one or if it's just low quality but the side where I put coarse pink salt is already about to break every time I use it and it started to be bad barely after 2 months of regular use.

Broke in less than a month
A gasket fell out of the grinder right into the dish I was cooking and it cannot be reattached :( I loved using it, but won't order another because of this.

Mechanism broke in a few months
I love the design, but after just a few months the mechanism inside broke. My husband tried to fix but the screw is made of cheap plastic (not metal) and was stripped. It could not be repaired, so this was a waste of money.

Works great and looks great
The product works as expected and looks amazing. The dust caps come of easily enough so you don’t have to fiddle around with it. The area where you hold on to twist is big enough so you get a good grip while grinding your pepper/salt. That’s what I was most concerned with as my old grinders had annoying dust caps and the twisting area was too small and awkward to get a good grip when grinding pepper.
