Sony PlayStation Classic - PlayStation

The real deal, received sooner than anticipated and the system works great. Hard to beat the value, kids love it.

Works perfectly, easy setup, built in memory cards, and two old-school controllers. There are several options available for compatible controllers with DualShock and joysticks (these controllers have neither). For me Tekken3, MG Solid, Syphon Filter, and Final Fantasy 7 were the games that sold me on it. They are the original games, identical in every way.

Works great

I got this for my son birthday April 1st and we still play it from time to time because we have other game systems

I should have looked better and closer but they could have advertised better. This is a mini and not the original consol. It just has 20 preloaded games. So just be aware and don't make the same mistake I did if you're looking for a console that plays PS1 Disc's.

But some poor. Glad IC was included, as I find it to be one of the better PS games. Slightly let down by the omission of Tekken2. It was better than Tekken3 in some aspects. Nothing to add about MGS. A true classic. Screen resolution seems subpar though. Not in the sense that these are old games. I won't get into the technicalities, but the graphics of these games seem down-graded in comparison to the original.

I was apprehensive on buying this because first, I am from the Philippines and I was worried I won't be able to return if it will not work.. but yes! It did! So good! Some of the games have poor graphics though, but for me, not a concern because I am happy I get to play with the games I used to play when I was a teen. :) In terms of delivery, it was very fast! I got my orders after 2 weeks! :)

so much fun playing all the games on here

The PlayStation Classic Console promised to immerse us in this nostalgic universe, but did it keep all its promises? Let me guide you through its features and performance. From the first glance, the PlayStation Classic seduces with its design. A miniature replica of the famous PSX, it immediately awakens a feeling of nostalgia with its original power and reset buttons. USB controllers, faithful to the original PlayStation controllers, are an invitation to relive those hours spent playing our favorite titles. Navigating through the games list is a breeze, and the ability to save at any time is a welcome modern addition. However, we have to be honest about the console's shortcomings. The game selection, while featuring staples like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII, is sorely lacking in many flagship titles from the PSX era. The absence of games like Gran Turismo, Tomb Raider, or even Crash Bandicoot leaves a void. In addition, the choice to offer PAL versions for certain games, which therefore run more slowly, is a notable disappointment. But here's the twist: the PlayStation Classic was quickly adopted by the modding community. Thanks to their talents, the console can now accommodate an extensive library of PlayStation games. This opens up a world of possibilities for enthusiasts looking to personalize their gaming experience. In conclusion, the PlayStation Classic is a nostalgic trip with its ups and downs. If you are a fan of retro gaming, ready to explore the possibilities offered by modding, this console can be transformed into a veritable Ali Baba's cave of video games. If you're just looking to relive childhood memories with the original games, be aware of its limitations. Just as described and received it earlier than the given date at the moment of purchase

I suppose I got what I paid for as this does what it said it's just the graphics and control are basic products, better than the ps5 I couldn't get for many months .
