Spektrum WS2000 Wireless USB RC Flight Simulator Dongle for PC, Mac and Android, SPMWS2000, Black

This wireless dongle works great, but it is important to understand how to use this dongle. The dongle has a pushbutton switch, that you push and hold while inserting into a USB slot, until it starts flashing. I am using this dongle in conjunction with the Real Flight Trainer Edition and a Spektrum wireless controller, on a Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit computer. Because my Spektrum DXs controller was available for selection, within the controller menu of my RF Trainer Edition program, binding between the dongle and controller occurred, causing the flashing to stop. If a controller is not available for selection, the program won't recognize the dongle, making the dongle useless for that particular controller.

As a first time RC airplane pilot, I bough this to connect my Spektrum transmitter to my PC so I could practice flying with an RC airplane simulator. It works beautifully. I plugged it in to the USB port of my Windows 11 PC, and it recognized it immediately and set it up as a USB game controller. This really was my secrete weapon to a fantastic first RC airplane flying experience. After hours of using the simulator 1st, without any help and entirely by myself, I flew my plane with a 43 inch wingspan solo for my first time, and everything was great. No crashes, nice landings, and even stunts! I was amazed. I did not expect that kind of first time flying experience, especially since I was dumb enough not to get any help (which I DON'T recommend). Even if you're an experienced pilot that wants to learn something new, like 3D flying, this has a tremendous value. You can crash all day in the simulator and save yourself lots of time and money by NOT crashing the real. With the availability of cheap and/or free RC simulators, it seems like simulator training should be a standard part of learning RC flying. I highly recommend getting this. I've had zero issues with.

Works as it should. Reason for taking one star off is instructions on how to bind to the transmitter. Lots of info online but unfortunately it shows older units with push button on back. The newer units have the switch integrated in the housing. You squeeze the back to start the binding process. Otherwise unit works great.

Seeing as I use a spectrum transmitter (NX8+) I don’t have a way to connect the transmitter directly to my laptop the way I could with an FRSKY transmitter I once had. This is nice because it’s a wireless connection and I can use the transmitter I always use to fly. Definitely worth the money especially if you want to learn more 3D maneuvers with a plane you can just reset in the result of a crash.

This is the real Spektrum WS2000 dongle. Not a counterfeit. It works with a MacBook (with a usb-c to usb adapter). On my Mac, I fly with HELI-X10 simulator, and my every-day Spektrum DX9. I also used it with my older DX7. You bind to this just like it's a plane receiver. Easy.

This is à good product and is very close to the real rc plane it is simulting.

Die Installation könnte nicht einfacher sein. Taste auf dem Stick gedrückt halten und in einen freien USB-Port einstecken. Das Lämpchen blinkt. Den Sender in den Bindemodus schalten und binden. Fertig! Ich habe einen USB 2.0-Port genommen, der noch auf meinem USB-Hub frei war. Der Stick funktioniert also auch hinter einem Hub. Treiber o.ä. mussten nicht installiert werden, der Stick meldet sich an Windows wohl als Standard-USB-HID an. Sehr schön, sehr einfach. Die Einrichtung bei Heli-X war genauso einfach. Scannen nach Joysticks, den Spektrum Receiver auswählen und die Konfiguration durchlaufen (im Wesentlichen alle Sticks ein paar mal rühren). Das war's und los geht die wilde Fahrt. Der Preis ist schon ein wenig höher, aber das sind Spektrumjünger ja gewohnt. Dafür erhält man aber auch ein solides Stück Technik mit acht Kanälen und ohne lästiges Kabelgeraffel. Insofern würde ich den Preis als gerade noch angemessen bezeichnen. Klare Kaufempfehlung, ich jedenfalls würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Spektrum... No hay nada más que decir!! Funciona de maravilla y usar el simulador sin cables por en medio es muchísimo más cómodo!!
