The chocolate coating had changed as though it got extremely hot, and then chilled back down. The milk fat had separated and is no longer edible. I tried to eat one, hoping it was alright, but it powdery and not edible. Someone went so far as to remove the date code on the package. The box is there for the code, but the code has been removed.

I've cleaned out every store around me. I haven't had a riesen in weeks. I watched the Amazon tracking all day and they finally arrived! What a time we live in.

These Riesen candies were fresh, delicious and delivered in perfect condition! Perfect for those who like both high quality chocolate and caramel. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have been buying this candy for many years, and the 3 stars is due to the chocolate being slightly stale. It didn’t have that rich taste as is always does. Perhaps it was the hot weather during shipping.
