Interesting product
Quite surprised at how well this works and its speed. Netflix was good and didn't show any lag, but sometimes was a bit pixilated or blurry (depends on source resolutions). Same issue with internally stored movies on an SD card. The quality was not terrible if you are using it for a spare entertainment system while traveling (not HD but not bad). Email and other apps work well as long as there is a good wifi connection. I am still learning how some apps work but it is very similar to most Android stuff I have used. I paired this with the Hausbell ® Mini H7 2.4GHz Wireless Entertainment Keyboard with Touchpad. This takes some getting used to but works very well. In fact without a touch screen the touchpad on the keyboard works as the touchscreen. I have played Angry Birds and Free Flow with it which would have been difficult without a touch screen. Its a little different but functional. Very satisfied and family has also enjoyed it. Fonts are clear and easy to read.

The GOOD: Everything works right out the box
Decent for it's price. this version is sorta a Frankenstein of the brand, with the innards of a MK809III (sans heatsink) running on KitKat 4.4.2 from UG-CX919II.The GOOD:Everything works right out the box. Afraid hdmi extension cable would give me issues from other reviews.Comes already rooted (sans binaries) with latest Android for these devices. The BAD:Mediocre build quality. Usb jack on power adapter is off center, but enough play to workDoes not have any heatsinks so everything gets really hotHard to update firmware.Average to bad wifi (depending on program)Right out the box, if you're looking for a cheap video/internet player for your TV then then is fine. If you want 1080p and more from this, look elsewhere or mod it to work. The unit has no heatsink and on the default 720p 60hz the unit gets pretty hot (100+ from infrared thermometer) Setting it to 1080p and unit will slow to a crawl and reboot due to the heat. The CPU has what looks like a thermal pad stuck to it to try to dissipate heat, but without real heat sinks for the CPU & ram there is no real longiviety for this unit (it's already 2 years old on last year OS)Do NOT try and update the firmware. it doesn't use the one listed on http://ugoos.net. Found out the hard way when after updating the unit was stuck in boot loop. Even tried the firmware for MK809III (they share the same hardware). Finally worked when I tried a firmware for UG-CX919II from a chinese site, which also had the latest RKBatchTool (v.1.8). I don't think it's the same one, but close (missing few options from HDMI scale)WiFi is good when it works, really bad when it don't. Play store works 50%, rebooting helps. Streaming is decent, but looks very low res. Netflix looks like a giant version of the mobile app. There are tons of videos and mods online and looks like the manufacture took their advice and repositioned the antenna away from the processor & ram. BUT the wire connecting it still runs into that area which almost null the change. Simple fix by turn it to run towards the USB instead of the HDMI.In conclusion, if you don't have another android device to cast, this is the cheapest way to get android on the big screen. For casual movie watching and web surfing, this should last you a year or two.

Over-all was satisfied with this product
Over-all was satisfied with this product. Performed well for the price point. Make sure to mount it somewhere in open air as there is no fan or heatsink. Good for watching movies on micro SD, social media apps, or casual web browsing. Under higher horsepower apps this unit will overheat and shut off. Netflix streaming will get about 45min-1hour before shutting down. You may have better luck but mine was mounted on the back of a flatscreen in a cabinet.Using a wireless keyboard/touch pad and it proved to be a decent interface device. Google remote compatible but never explored their app.Would give this unit a higher rating but after almost 4 months of semi-daily use it overheated for the last time and is now unresponsive. Some of this could be attributed to mounting in a space with limited airflow.

Nice little piece of technology for the price
Summary: I bought this to use as a home theater computer for a projector setup. I setup a storage drive on the network and stream media to the device through XBMC. It's a great little device given it's price, though not perfect out of the box. It'll take you a minute to get used to using a touchpad/keyboard (I paired it with a Hausbell Mini H7) with apps that are designed for touch screens. It's best for someone who has some technological know-how or likes to tinker with technology.Pros: In-app video streaming at 720p is excellent considering the form factor and price of the device. Generally smooth and responsive. Play store support gives you access to any apps available on the play store, which I found is great for games, video, and music streaming services.Cons: There are times when the device gets hung up during boot and never fully turns on. Recently I've run into compatibility issues on some Android apps, given that it is shipped with Android 4.2. Updating to the 4.4 isn't too difficult if you know what you're doing and with make things run a bit smoother, but there are some little technical details that need to be worked out, so be prepared to tinker with it. One more USB slot would be nice for the flexibility of being able to attach a webcam for video chat and conferencing.

Turn your old flat screen into a HUGE tablet for less than what a tablet would cost!
Turn your old flat screen into a smart tv with this device. So worth the low, low price. Plug and play, paired easily with the Bluetooth keyboard and usb wireless mouse. Connected to my wireless internet with ease. Great for streaming movies, checking email, etc. Now my old 36 inch tv is essentially a huge tablet. This model is not the fastest one they have available, but you can upgrade the storage capacity on the device using a mini sd card.

Wonderfully Surprised!!!
I received this today and I totally love this product. This does exactly what it's supposed to do with no problems. What's not to love about this dongle? Quad core Rockchip processor, 2 Gigs Ram, 8 Gigs storage, mini sd card expansion slot. I purchased the Hausbell M7 mini keyboard as a perfect compliment to my Android mini PC. The product description says Android 4.2 but the one I received came with Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat. I completely recommend this product.
