My husband is very pleased with this shaver......he loves the close shave that it gives the first time, even with a heavy beard, and the battery life is great. He was using a Braun shaver previously and feels that this one performs much better.The price on Amazon was much cheaper than other sites and he would highly recommend this shaver.

This is a fantastic shaver for the money (I paid $54). In fact, I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 only so no one thinks this is the ultimate shaver. First, I have a medium beard. This model isn't the "one pass" shaver I'm still looking for, but it's excellent compared to other affordable shavers. It may not achieve the hype of the old Remington commercials - "Shaves as close as a blade..." - but it's pretty darn close! It makes me wonder whether some of their more expensive foil shavers might just actually accomplish that claim. It's surely not the quietest shaver on the market but you're not going to sustain hearing damage either! So, although it may not meet the standard of an aficionado from a noise standpoint, it's nowhere near intolerable. It handles a couple days' growth without pulling and eventually eliminates stubble completely. It fits the hand well and has a comfortable weight. It has a trimmer which can be used in a pinch, but not the sharp results of an actual trimmer. Bottom line - Close, comfortable shave at a good price.

I bought one for my husband and one for my son for Christmas. My son used his first and told me it was a pretty bad shave, so my husband used it not knowing what our son had said about it, he also told me it was one of the worst electric shavers he's ever used. I sent them both back, the shavers not my son and husband.

Afeitadora muy buena apura muy bien , hay críticas de que reseca la piel y si al principio apura tanto que llega a picar un poco , pero es lo que tiene un gran apurado , la recomiendo y es más barata que la Braun o Philip, los recambios ya no sé cómo andarán con la competencia

I know this product has had a number of glowing reviews already but I had to add my voice to the chorus of approval. Get this shaver while you can because it is amazing. I get the closest shave ever from an electric shaver with it. It gives you a shave that lasts about two or three hours longer than my Braun Series Seven.There are however some caveats I must add. This might seem a bit contradictory after giving such a glowing endorsement but hear me out. First of all use an electric pre shave lotion with it. It shaves close but probably because of the very thin "titanium" foil it will nick you if you are not careful and pre shave lotion reduces the likelihood of this happening. Also you get an even closer shave using a lotion and unlike the case with other shavers the lotion does not bung up the shaver because it is not a cartridge design and you can take apart the shaver head and clean it properly. I recommend Boots pre shave lotion by the way. It does the job and it's cheap as chips. If you do not like the smell of it you can use a normal aftershave afterwards which will replace its aroma.Another thing that helps is shaver oil. Remington do not seem to sell one any more but Braun or Panasonic's shaver oil will do the job. This seeems to improve the longevity of the foils which is the other minor bugbear of this model. Depending on usage you will be lucky to get a year out of the foils which is probably because they are so thin. However I would argue that this is a price worth paying for the close shave. It is also worth bearing in mind that the replacement shaver head is about half the price of the equivalent Braun item so you could change it every six months and not be out of pocket.Another thing, this is obviously quite an old design probably getting on for twenty years old nearly. You might be concerned about parts availability for the shaver heads but so far this is holding up fine and you could always stock up on shaver heads if it was causing you concern. And finally there is or was a cheaper model, the F5300 which does the same thing without the digital display if you can find one it is just as good..

Il rasoio è fornito con sacchetto in tale morbida per il viaggio (non protegge dagli urti), una spazzolina per pulire le testine ed una base di ricarica ed un caricabatterie.Le mie 5 stelle non vi deve far pensare ad un prodotto eccellente, ma sono rapportate al prezzo di vendita (€50 ad Aprile 2018). Questo prodotto è un buon secondo rasoio, quello che vi portereste in viaggio per non rovinare o perdere il vostro rasoio preferito. Fa il suo lavoro ma se devo fare un paragone con il mio Braun 5030, allora vi dico che è inferiore come qualità (il Braun costa due volte e mezza il Remington)Vediamo le principali caratteristiche negative:1) Il tagliabasette del Braun riduce anche la barba di una settimana senza problemi per poi essere tagliata con il rasoio, quello del Remington è pensato come tagliabasette, cercare di ridurre la barba è possibile ma meno piacevole.2) La testina è parzialmente oscillante, nel senso che ha la possibilità di ruotare ma che non lo fa agilmente come nel caso del Braun. Mentre quest'ultimo segue il profilo del viso, quella del Remington è meglio che la utilizziate pensando di dover voi regolare l'inclinazione della testina per essere circa perpendicolari alla superficie da radere.3) La testina è secondo me leggermente grossa4) L'impugnatura del rasoio potrebbe essere migliore5) Il rasoio è più pesante del Braun6) Per me non è un difetto, ma per alcuni potrebbe esserlo: Non si può utilizzare con creme o schiume da barba (è solo dry).Vediamo le principali caratteristiche positive:1) La carica dura parecchio (60 minuti), quindi ci potete fare un buon numero di rasature prima di ricaricarlo.2) La base di ricarica è comoda3) La testina taglia bene, non in maniera impeccabile, ma considerato il costo del rasoio va più che bene. Non ho avuto problemi di arrossamenti neanche dopo la prima rasatura.4) Non produce un rumore insopportabile, direi nella norma per un rasoio elettrico5) Il display che mostra la carica residua in minuti è molto comodo6) Si può pulire sotto acqua corrente la testina (non mentre è in funzione)Conclusione: se cercate un rasoio economico (ma non troppo) da usare come scorta o muletto (da viaggio) questo ve lo consiglio, altrimenti dovete pensare di spendere più del doppio per rasoi molto buoni. Questo rasoio è un buon compromesso tra qualità e costo.
