I ordered 2 of these trash cans back in July and loved them so much that I just ordered 2 more! They are kind of small, but great for bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. Our dog became notorious for getting into the trash and this has totally solved the issue! You just wave your hand over the sensor to open the lid - it will automatically close after a few seconds. If you need the lid open for a longer amount of time, just push the little button next to the sensor. The lid will open and will remain open until you press the button again. This just takes 2 AA batteries which I haven’t had to change so far in the 5 months I have had these, which is fabulous! There is also a little plastic insert which helps hold trash bags in place and also prevents them from being seen on the outside of the trash can. Unfortunately, when my husband went to empty one of our trash cans (which didn’t have a bag at the time), he just tipped the whole thing upside down and never noticed the plastic insert fell out. So now we have one trash can without the insert. It still works just fine - but anytime we use a trash bag in there, it’s visible. So be sure to let your people know NOT to tip it upside down when emptying it - or at least be sure the insert remains! 😊

I. appreciate the quality, appearance, and size of this trash can. It's a perfect little 4-gallon bin, and the color is beautiful. The rectangular shape fits nicely in my space. I'm satisfied with its ease of use, value, and overall performance. The added motion detection feature and reliable lid make it even more convenient. Although opinions are mixed on these features, I find them valuable. Investing $25 in this product is definitely worth it for me, considering it effectively hides the trash and the time-sensitive benefits it offers

This has really surprised me. It senses perfectly, closes softly but quickly, has been 4x daily for 6 weeks but same batteries. AND has kept my cats out! Yes, it opens when they go by, but by the time they even think about looking in it, it's closed. Plus, they have no desire to because of the moving lid. No more tissues and gross things left around the house like surprise gifts!! I change the bag enough that odor hasn't been an issue, but I like having a fresh smell anyway. I use a stick-on can go on the inside of the lid as long as it's very light and get a nice little waft of citrus or lavender with every use. Even if I don't need to throw something away, I'll set off the sensor to freshen the air. These are mini fresheners. Very light and perfect size for these cans. Hey everyone, you can hide the plastic bag! I see photos people take with the plastic bag hanging out. Ruins the sleek, clean look. It's easy to hide. Pull out the inner liner, put the plastic bag in it, and hold the excess against it as you reinsert it into the can. It takes a little finesse to keep the plastic going in with the liner, but you'll get it down after a few times. That extra 5 seconds makes such a difference! I'm getting another one now for my other bathroom.

This thing is little! But it will actually hold quite a bit as long as you're smart about breaking down containers and pushing the trash down a bit when it starts to get full.. Don't expect to be able to throw away big shampoo bottles, because they won't fit. It was easy to set up, and it works well for the price point. However, it should be noted that it did NOT come with included batteries.

This can is perfect for my needs. This can is small, so be sure to take that into consideration. It is also a bit pricey for what you are getting. It's a standard plastic can, inside liner ring, and a motorized lid. It could be $10 cheaper. If it proves to last, I will consider the cost reasonable though. The motion sensor works great so far. I was worried about replacing batteries often, so I have it direct wired with the help of a battery eliminator. It has worked well with no issues. My only concern is that the motor may wear out in a short time. I will try to update this review if it fails before the year is up.

This trash can fits between the toilet and the wall perfectly. It sits a little bit behind toiled so when you sit down it’s very convenient to have a motion activated trash can in that space. I’ve had it for 2 months now and it works great. It does sometimes opens when you sit down cause it senses motion but it stays closed when no one is using the toilet so it keeps all waist contained which is the most important part for me.

I bought this for a very small bathroom that I have. It works great and fits everywhere. The only problem that I have is that the motion sensor can be too sensitive to light from a window or for just brushing by. I moved mine next to a piece of furniture and now it constantly goes off. I had to move it a little bit here and there to get it to stop, but it’s annoying because now I have to put it in a much more inconvenient place.

Me llegó muy rápido. Bien empacado. El manual está en español. Usa 2 pilas AA. Funciona muy bien, abre al acercar la mano y luego de unos segundos se cierra la tapa para evitar todo contacto. Estéticamente se ve bien y se siente de buena calidad. Cumple mis expectativas y estoy satisfecho con la compra. Lo recomiendo.

I bought this to stop my cats from trying to gobble up tooth floss. I love it. I have had it since 2021 and it still works well. I rarely need to replace the batteries. I got so used to it that I sometimes catch myself waving my hand over other garbage cans expecting them to pop open. I want a >75L one for the kitchen as well.

Overall is good and its size fit under desk, small which is the size I wanted. However minus 2 stars because it was previously returned by another buyer and it is not properly packed and not clean.
