Way Better than I expected
I have only 2 complaints about this card:1. The quick setup manual does not tell you the optional power socket is PCIe,,, if you don't know or if you are uncertain you have to go online to find that information after sorting through a bunch of different languages.2. The card draws a little power when you turn your pc off. You'll know if you see it's led lit up after shutting down your pc. To disable this you must go into your systems bios and enable ErP, which might be a negative for those who enjoy the RGB light show,,, which I don't.Other than that, this card is over 4x faster than my Geforce GT 1030 but the GPU rating isn't that much higher than the GT 1030. I'm guessing its the additional memory, the GTX 1660 has 4 more GB of GDDR memory. This has been one of my better purchases. All my 3D modeling applications use cuda now they run so fast I feel like I built a new machine.

Solid performance at an unbeatable price
After my 960 FTW edition card suddenly died, I had absolutely no idea what options were even on the market. I am the sort of shopper that researches something to death, finds exactly the best value for my needs, and then I happily enjoy something until it no longer meets my needs. I tend to keep things happily for a VERY long time. So, after going into sudden emergency mode to figure out which graphics card would be my next many years long GPU, I eventually settled on this 1660 Super! It has the newer faster RAM, better performance than the 1660, is nearly as good as the 1660 TI, and it has an absolutely perfect price. I could have gotten a $300 1660 TI locally within half an hour, but $230 and a few days without a computer for the 1660 Super was a much better deal for my personal needs and uses. The card arrived on time, was VERY easy to install (much smaller than my old card), and the drivers installed for me before I could even make it to the menu to install drivers! My screen was back to normal and I was gaming again in no time. If this card lasts the same 4 years as my old card, with this level of effortlessness, I will be VERY happy. If it lasts 6-8 years it will be ideal!

Improved 4k movie play and Highest Graphic setting for WOW
Improved 4k movie play and Highest Graphic setting for WOWI have a old I7 2600k 3.4 MHz with SSD boot and 32gb 1333 ramThis card improved my WOW play from a 2-3 to all the way to level 10 graphic setting in the basic world quests; 8-9 when in a raid/dungen. It gave new life to playing WOW. I might hold onto play wow for a bit longer. lolIt did also improve my 4k movie play from Pixelating and or jerky frame rate, not perfect but much nicer than before, but I found it the real issue was VLC's file cache increase was the real improvement.

Not as happy as i should be
So i probably should have done some more research before buy this card. I upgraded from an asus gtx 960 strix 2gb, which had been a great card for the last 5 years. This gtx 1660 super oc definitely has more horsepower, but it runs super hot. Like, too hot. Its constantly running @ 87 degrees Celsius, and its threshold is 83 degrees, at which point it lowers its clock speed to stop the card from burning up. So all that adds up to a card that you cant push very hard without over heating. Its my mistake. The pheonix version with its one fan just doesn't cool adequately. I wish i could fit a dual fan version, but my case is too small so i ordered the pheonix. That being said this card was still a huge upgrade. All of my games run smoother. Gta 5 on high graphics at 1080p is at about 75fps. Tried gta 5 at 1440p with ultra graphics, ran around 45 fps till the card got to 88 degrees, then bogged down to about 20 fps. I feel if the cooling system was better and performance was more consistent, I would be much happier with this card.It works, just not as well as i thought

amazing card. Very loud.
This asus 1660 super is amazing but it just barely fit in my computer. I do have a smaller pc so I imagine that won't be a problem for most. And wow is it loud. It louder than the fan I have in the window. Not sure why its so loud but after a while it seemed to get a little more quiet. Or maybe that was just me getting used to it. People are calling this a 1080p card. You can easily max out some newer games at 1440 and still get great fps. I would recommend it.

Great value, quiet, does its job
It's quiet, so I have no idea what others are saying about it being "noisy." I replaced my 1050 TI with this as a minor, budget upgrade for World of Warcraft. I have HP 790 Pavilion Gaming machine. Once installed, and driver updated, I let GEForce Experience do it's job, though, I did go to YouTube and found a video about changing Windows/Graphics card settings to get even more out of it. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Damn good card
For the price when I bought it, I couldn't beat this card. I don't care to spend so much money on the highest cards, this one is more than capable of running everything I play in ultra. And that's current games too, not something 5+ years old.

86C and only 80% of Normal Output=SAD
I purchased this card hoping it would be the answer I needed in a Lenovo desktop I have. I worked fine with the 400w psu in the computer, but the single fan was not anywhere nearly enough to get this card up to speed. Even with the case door off, the card throttled at about 80% of the normal output for a 1660 super.Regardless of your situation, this card will run hot. You may throttle at 90% or even 95%, but it looks to me like this is a good likelihood in a large number of situations. Well, who wants their card running at 86C, ever? For goodness sake, I have an old gtx 980 that burns nearly 200w, but it runs at 72C max while staying whisper quiet.Really wanted this card to work, and I even looked for aftermarket cooling options. Sadly, there aren't any that would work for me. Given that PNY and Gigabyte both have a similar card, I have to believe that the criticisms of the heatsink are true in this case. Just wish Asus had worked this out in the lab :(, because the Phoenix is a great idea on paper. In the end the paper is only kindling for the bonfire under the heatsink. Amazon was good enough to take the return, so I won't complain. Just sad...
