This really is a decent product. For my purposes, the displays available is OK, but more customization within each display would be nice. The focal point, given where I have it placed on my dash, essentially slices through the windshield, so it is similar to my previous hud that projected onto the windshield. The field of view is fairly small, but it is extremely clear. I don’t think that I will go back to one that projects on the windshield. The clarity does not compare to this.Cons: The unit is so light weight that it can be pulled to the side a bit by the weight of the cord. It isn’t very significant, but it takes careful cord placement.The silicon pad used to mount it is thin. Because the only place in front of me that I can mount this has a significant arc to it, the contact patch is small and the unit tends to bounce a little. If my dash were flat in front of me, it would be perfect.It is a little pricey compared to similar units, but the integrated code reading/clearing function justifies this for me. I tend to keep a bluetooth or wifi OBD reader in my car anyway, so I get a two for one with this.I will most likely purchase another one as a gift.

This item replace a Tandy unit that failed. The Yuguang unit is pretty good, but has flaws. First, the instructions are grossly insufficient. They are printed very small, don't fully explain how to access features. Second, the brightness is inadequate in full sunlight. Third, there is no way to prevent the speed output from changing colors at two different points, which is annoying. Fourth, The GPS feature is not a real GPS. It only features number of GPS orbiting units visible to the HUD, which is useless, and the magnetic compass direction.There are other, cheaper unit on the market, but admittedly they do not offer as many features as this unit. So it is a tossup.

Works great in my 2018 Chevy Cruze.Be aware it does interfere with some OnStar diagnosis functions.About to order another one for my truck.Update: Functions great in my 2008 Ford Ranger but getting view of “screen” that isn’t partially obstructed by the projector is difficult is difficult on a downward sloping dash.Dash in Cruze slopes upward so not an issue.

Why out the plug in the back of the unit faving the windshield? It makes it look slopy so you have this wire that plugs in right underneath the stearing wheel have a wire wrapped everywhere. Love it but the USB needs moved to the back of the USB facing the car not the windshield.

Before buying I asked if this would be compatible with my 2003 Toyota truck. I received a reply back saying that if my truck has the OBD2 port, the item would work fine. My truck has an OBD2 port. I followed the instructions and plugged it into my OBD2 port into my truck. The screen lit up and after about 30 seconds, I got an error message saying that it was NOT compatible with my truck. I attempted to re-connect the device multiple times ending with the same error message every time.I was not sure if the HUD device was just a defective unit, so I connected it to my other vehicle, a 2013 Infinity Q-56. It worked fine.I am very annoyed that I wasted so much time on a product that was never going to work, especially after asking a specific question regarding compatibility before buying the product.

Bought two of these units and they worked great on my 2006 Toyota Camry except for one thing, the protective film when removed from the lens leaves a glue substance that will not come off, this was the result of both units and had to return both.

This product did not work out of box. And it doesn’t hold a charge. I am only seeking a refund and that appears to be made difficult by the seller. I only want what’s fair. A simple refund of my hard earned money

It is a good hud. The sticky mount didn't work to well..but it stays in place. Just can't figure out how to get it out of military time. Other than that..its a good unit.
