Not the best price but certainly a solid, reliable product..worth buying!
I thought about buying the cheapest drum spurs I could find for my bass drum as it is a very used kit. But I went for this Gibraltar even though it costs a little more, I'm glad I got it. I didn't need the mounting bracket but the 3/8" diameter was the size/thickness I needed. Very solid and fit perfectly. Feet are great too. Very happy with these and my bass drum stays in place very well now! I'd give it five stars if it were cheaper but sometimes it's worth paying a bit more when you can see it looks pretty solid. Happy drummer!

Rods needed to be longer
The brace worked but legs didn’t- the hole is 3/8th an inch went to menards and bought a metal rod and cut that in half needs longer rods

Great product-- I can understand SOME frustrations.
I purchased these to replace the vintage Slingerland spurs on an early 70's kit. I received two (2) spurs packaged well and read to go. I can see where some could benefit from some basic directions, indications of which was right/left, or even a drilling diagram. I had to use a trusty measuring tape. It took a little longer, but I have experience reconditioning drums-- some don't.

For 18" bass drum
Product works as described. Should be labeled as 20" or smaller bass drum. Installed on my 22" Ludwig bass drum, doesn't pick the drum up high enough for me.

Too short!
The brackets fit the hole pattern on my busted old CB700 bass drum shell perfectly- but the spurs are too short! At the point where they reach the floor, trying to tighten them only cause them to splay outward. Now I have a bass drum with no spurs and I have to take it apart again to go back to the originals. This is the only time I've gone wrong with a Gibraltar product. I suggest you stay away. If you insist on trying to use these, here's some information on the hole spacing that is inexplicably missing from the product description. The side to bottom hole spacing is 1.5", and the side to side hole spacing is about 1.7". I had to bevel the existing holes in the shell with a 5/16" drill bit to get the brackets to seat. The legs are 1/16" shy of 1 foot in length. That may sound like enough for a 22" bass drum but in my case it isn't.

Man did these work out. They fit exactly like I'd hoped in my project.
