Works Perfectly on Xbox 360!
I'm still old school and haven't upgraded to Rocksmith+. But I've been using the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable exclusively on my Xbox 360, and it works flawlessly! The connection is smooth, and there's minimal latency, making it feel like I'm playing through a real amp. The sound quality is great, and it's been durable through multiple sessions without any issues.

Solid Cable with Dented Packaging
Picked one of these up to give Rocksmith+ a try while I’m between audio interfaces. My first impression when I opened it was that the packaging the cable came in had been tossed around a bit with some creasing and semi-ripped corners where it appeared as though it was opened at one point. Outside of the packaging though, the included cable has been functional and works for my needs. If cross platform flexibility and convenience is something that you’re after I think this is definitely worth it. Being able to use the same cable on pc and consoles is nice if you were going to bring your guitar with you to play with friends or some such. There’s a bit more versatility here than in an audio interface in that regard. If quality and recording is what you’re after, I would recommend spending some time looking into audio interfaces, but that’s just my two cents.TechnicalThe dimensions of the actual plug do seem to run just a bit long, maybe somewhere between a sixteenth to an eighth compared to a general quarter inch audio cable. I also noticed that there’s a bit of an issue with how “snug” the cable feels compared to a typical audio cable plug as well, and it’s easy for it to “slip” out a bit. I’ll update if this becomes an issue, but so far it’s been fine.Wrap upCan it play Rocksmith/Rocksmith+ on multiple platforms? Yes.Can it technically record? Yes.Does it function out of the box? Yes.

Works Great, New Cable
I found myself with a used version on Rocksmith 2014 and wanted to play it on my Series X. Bought this cable and it works 100% just fine.Due to the Amazon shipping in a floppy envelope, the box was slightly crushed. But inside the cable was new with all the box-in ads for Rocksmith+.It is new. It works, even with an old used game. Can't give anything but 5 stars.

Works with PS5!
I don't do many reviews. This one I will. Arrived in 1 day. Super fast. I was leary if it would work with my PS5. It does. Works perfectly with Rocksmith+ on it. Kids and I are having a blast learning to play the guitar.

Great cable
Is more reliable than the game, if you intend to use for rocksmith 2014, check forms for white screen crash and make sure your drivers are current and only ones listed in forms to be disabled. It's a SOB but it's worth it.

Scared it wouldn't work for a PS5 but it does & it doesn't seem to lag at all!
