Woolrich Men's Potter County Slipper

My first pair lasted well over a decade, and quite possibly two decades . . . I've had them so long I can't remember when I bought them. While the current styles don't exactly match the pair I had, I found the Potter County Slippers are close enough to make me order my second pair. The first pair just started showing wear at the seams, with a couple holes near the front (I usually wear Wide width shoes, and often wore wool socks while wearing those slippers), but the uppers were intact and the soles were only moderately worn. I fully expect this pair of Woolrich Potter County Slippers to last until I post my next Woolrich update, some time around the holiday season of 2040. Talk to ya then.

Its hard to find a pair of slippers that hold up to lots of wear. So far these are showing no signs of wear and tear and they get worn often. I am very happy with the purchase. The fit is as expected and they are comfortable. I've run quick errands in them and I've worn them running out to my garage or last walk at night for the dog. They are so far exactly what I wanted. Tough slippers that can withstand lots of wear.

Good quality. Second pair I purchased. First pair finally wore out after daily use over 3 years.

Slippers run small. Purchased size 10 for my husband (shoes size) but had to return for a size 11. The size 11 fits "snug" but he said they should loosen up after wearing them after a while. Nice rubber soles and well made.

I bought this gift for my dad. He had a pair that were really worn out but he loved. When it came the sole was the wrong color but other than that he loves them.

I changed my review to reflect the newer, higher prices.- Originally the price was about $18.. and I thought these were a fair deal but at $28 NO - especially after the second pair I purchased had the sole come loose with very little use.I like slippers I can wear outside, these work OK. I don't think they will hold up long wearing them outside. My last "brand Name" pair that cost almost $60.00 wore out in less than 6 months. Maybe if I only wore them on soft carpet to and from bed they would last longer. I am spoiled, many years ago when having a pair of shoes repaired the guy said he could make a pair of soft deer skin moccasins with soles for wearing outside. - those lasted for many years, may have cost $50 - but I have not found that fellow again, must have moved.

The sluppers in the photo are not what was sent. The old version of this slipper had a black sole and now it is brown/tan. Also, the slippers fit small. Recommend sizing up a half size.

Wore them this winter and they kept me toasty warm through the long cold central NY winter. They don't show a bit of wear yet but I may order another pair soon while they are still available. Very comfartable and well made. The quality is built into these and they look great too.
