Andonstar AD207 Digital Microscope with 7" LCD Display USB Electronic Microscope Camera for PCB Repair Soldering

This is my second microscope. I wanted something better then the one I had. I should had started here. This thing works great. The screen is so clear compared to the one I have that I paid $89 for. This is worth the upgrade. With the side lights you can move them around, which makes reading chip info so easy.

I bought this to use with my eight year old daughter in an attempt to pry her away from her other devices and YouTube and everything else. Success! She loves it and it works perfectly. The zoom could be a little better but for the money it really is perfect. It’s built well and has a good design.the base is nice and solid and the lights are as bright as they need to be. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for an amateur digital microscope.

Picture quality, both on-screen and to SD card, is excellent. Lighting is superb with three adjustable sources. Clearance under the camera is adequate for working, including soldering under magnification. There is a few ms lag between movement and display that takes a little bit to get used to, but it's not insurmountable. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space on the workbench. Menu/UI is straightforward and easy to use. Overall, quite happy with this for electronics work.

I bought this to do repair work on Nintendo Switch's, which have some very small components. While a full stereo optical microscope would be best, this is a great low cost alternative. The display is bright and clear, the 4x digital zoom is very helpful for getting close on the smallest components.The base is very solid and keeps the camera/display very still. I usually keep it at the top of the height adjustment to give enough room to get a soldering iron or hot air tool in there, and this still gives enough magnification for what I need.After a few months my unit started to fail, with the display quickly washing out to all white after a few seconds on switching on. I contacted Andonstar for repair, they were very responsive and sent a replacement right away, direct from China - it arrived in less than a week.I liked this microscope brand so much I ordered the more expensive ADSM302 for its larger size and HDMI output - can't wait for it to arrive and give it a review.Pros:Great pricepoint.Good level of magnification.Solid metal base/frame.Good LED lighting.Fantastic customer support.Cons:The base could be a little bigger, working on large PCB's would be hard.The SD Card is a little hard to insert and remove.

The two power / usb connections were cheap and did not fully fit/engage. I was very surprised based on other reviews I have seen. If you can not provide a product with correct electrical connections, what else could be bad. I will say the optics and picture were good, I just do not like shoddy components/interface on the rest of the device.

Using the microscope to inspect antique clock movement pivots for wear and damage. Works excellent.

After Iturned this on and used it for the first time, when I closed it and turned it off, I couldnot get it started again. I tried rebooting and nothing happened. Every Microscope I tried, Ihad the same problem until I finally found the one I[m using which works perfect. I never did find out what happened from the dealers

Very good after much attention and research i settled on this model, the ability to angle the microscope to get a perspective difference as well as invert the color's to see imperfections help make this a excellent value. The highest working hight ive found so i can solder without interference or distortions. This is the best light and clearest picture quality I've seen at this price point. This is actually on par with the amscope quality and they are usually stereoscopic imaging devices. So you can angle the microscope vack and forth to get a different angle and almost 3d effect. This helps check solder pads and to read small print's. Again very good quality fkr this price point it's basically the best one, need i say the one you're looking for even.

Relativ leicht und handlich kommt dieses digitale Mikroskop daher, was gut ist, denn so kann man es auch problemlos mitnehmen/ transportieren.Die Qualität überzeugt bislang. Durch die Abstandseinstellung ist eine stufenlose Vergrösserung der Objekte möglich. Die Bildqualität der Aufnahmen auf dem Bildschirm ist gut, ist natürlich nicht mit einem Mikroskop für mehrere tausend Euro vergleichbar. Trotzdem aber absolut brauchbar und für den Heimanwender absolut gut.

Microscope pour monnaie et non pour svt. Si vous souhaitez observer des lamelles d'oignons, ce n'est pas le microscope qu'il vous faut.Pour observer les petits composants et souder avec précision c'est nickel.La mise au point est assez difficile. Il faut y aller très très lentement.On peut capturer les images et même observer sur un grand écran ce qui est très pratique pour partager les images.
