I have found this book to be helpful useful and full of information you cannot get just anywhere.

Great book, paperback print is small
I have heard such great things about this book. I ordered the mass market paperback version and the print is so small. If you have great vision it shouldn’t be a problem; if you’re like me, you’ll need the hardback version.

This is a book that transformed my life. I read it about 18 months ago, and I changed by habits since I was in the Fruit chapter. I became a total vegan, and I feel great. I must say that the change was easy for me because I was a vegetarian before. For people who are very fond of crap food and meat, it might be more difficult to change. Having said so, I must say that even I feel a great difference. I hardly ever feel tired. I have an enormous amount of anergy. Even my memory has improved. I thank the authors for the wonderful explanations and recipes. The explantion about fruits and about protein is the best I have ever read on the subject.

I can barely read the book - very small type.
I received the paperback book version of this book yesterday from Amazon. I had read the original. I also ordered A new way of eating -Fit for Life. The new way of eating paperback book is printed in a font size that I can easily read. I may not have ordered the Fit for Life II paperback book had I realized just how tiny the font size is.If you have problems reading small size fonts...then do not order this book, unless you have a means to magnify the text.I have only read a very little of the book, so I cannot make a comment as to the information content of this book.

Starting back to what works
I followed Fit For Life book 1 and this one part 2. I really found this part 2 book much more interesting and it seemed to have more information. It could also be because it included exercise. Different exercise routines like rebounder, yoga, and stretching. Also included is a 3 day detoxification plan, menu and recipes. Along with a healthy living 2 week menu plan including recipes. There is also additional recipes to add variety as you progress. It worked for me when it first came out, I foolishly got off track, but decided to go back to what works.

The truth is the truth, this is a bible for us, wellness creators
Read dr. Diamond's book about 35 years ago. In the past 3 years, I have read it twice. With knowledge and practice, it is easy, joyful, and creative to learn how our system works and HOW EASY IT IS TO CREATE GOOD HEALTH. Truly a bible of good nutrition.
