Progress with Oxford: Phonics Age 5-6- Practise for School with Essential English Skills

A good book for children to learn how to pronounce words correctly.

I discovered these workbooks during the lockdown after trying a few different companies. Other books tend to be say age 5-7, so the breadth of content ability was quite wide and was putting my daughter off as there were lots of things that are actually from the Year above or were too complicated. These are brilliant as they are more narrow and more suited to the ability of the child (in whatever age they are as obviously every child differs!)- but perfectly suited to those working at middle of the road Year 1 content. Great stickers to add some reward and also stickers within the workbook answers themselves which make it a little different, not just writing work. I've been really impressed with them and they've really helped! Thanks to the creators!

My son loves the design of these books, they keep his attention well and he loves the stickers in the middle to complete pages and as rewards. Hes excited to start this one. Great for lockdown learning.

We found this book quite attractive and therefore gripped my 5 year olds attention. He also finds the stickers for each page quite motivating. I would say it’s not that thick for the price so we will get through it quickly.

I have allowed of the books in this series. We live them. Fun, engaging and simple to understand. The reward sticker every two pages will keep your child motivated to complete the book and beyond.Great way to reinforce what your child is learning at school or to keep them one step ahead. Either way these books are a no brainier!!!

Very good book for 4-5 year olds

This series of books are great. My son enjoys completing the work and the stickers at the end of each 2 pages helps motivate them to finish. Great range of work within the books
