FOR RELAXATION
I like this album, "Resolution" my favorite selection.Listening for this review, I started out in a meditation mode, but personally find it a little busy for contemplative meditation. Nor would I use it during sessions with massage or sound therapy clients, but it is perfect as background in an anteroom following a session with clients relaxing with a cup of tea before returning to the chaotic, mundane world.Making a Playlist, I would include "Tibetan Singing Bowl with OM Chant Monks for Chakra Meditation and Balance," this would fit nicely together.I also find in this type music/sound, I prefer the longer versions (30-45 minutes) preferable to the shorter sequencing selections (6 - 12 minutes); the longer selections flowing smoother for meditation.I would buy this again and do recommend for leisure listening, relaxing, or for just putzing around the house.

Tibetan Meditations....
This music has atmospheric ambience and emotion that captures the feel of this part of the world without softening it over with pretty western melodies. I play this cd regularly and I recommend this recording to those of you looking for a more meditative approach to composition.

Great music to relax to, does not become boring and predictablle!
I own many CDs with relaxation/meditation music, and lot of them get rather repetitious and boring, sometimes bordering on irritating, after I listen to them several times in a row, so I have to 'put them on the shelf'.This one is def a refreshing exception. It has many elements of mystery and uniqueness, that make it inviting to listen to, which I have done many times already without feeling tired of it or bored.

Beautiful and enchanting
Been listening to this album for 6 months now, and it still hasn't become repetitive, I don't know how to explain that really. Some of the tracks are so mesmerizing that they will put you into a trance state, if you are open to it. Very relaxing in other contexts. This album has put me to sleep many times, and gotten me through depressing moods with its very upbeat spiritual melodies.

Excellent music for massage that wil put you in a trance state
I heard this CD at my massage therapist's studio and rushed out to buy it. The deep drone of the Tibetan horns and chants are easy to mentally "focus on" without being swept up too much. It's by far my favorite CD for relaxing and meditating.

Easy-listening rock version of Tibetan meditation music
Perhaps the modern or elevator-rock style sound is popular these days in Tibet. I only listened to a bit of the album before ejecting it (so there may be some tracks that sound like the album I was trying to purchase for my wife).

Tibetisch-indische Inspiration
Die CD hat eine tolle Instrumentierung mit typisch tibetischem Obertongesang und Hörnern sowie indischen Drums und Flöte und gibt dem Raum eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Wie ein dichtes Gewebe legt sich die Musik samtig auf gereizte Emotionen. Allerdings sind mir persönlich die Stücke als Meditationsstütze noch zu lebhaft. Dafür hilft mir die Musik in anderen Situationen ruhig und bei mir zu bleiben. Die Anregung zu ungeliebter Arbeit werde ich beim nächsten Frühjahrsputz aufgreifen ;-)
