ghd Curve® Creative Curl Wand limited edition curler gift set

This was purchased for my wife as she has been looking for ease to curl her hair like the saloon. Her friend works for a saloon and recommended this product.Not something I personally use myself but the finish looks like she has just come back from the saloon. She had no experience in ever using them - following a couple of videos online she’s mastered it.The unit looks very sleek and up to date - for the price I would recommend this to anyone looking for the saloon look finish.5 stars offered for the price and the product!

While these are far more expensive than I would value any hair styling equipment at, this set definitely feels like it's the best that money can buy.Both me and my partner style our hair - I straighten mine and she curls hers. We have both used GHD products before, although ones that are a fair bit cheaper than this one that retails around £120.Recently we have both been using cheaper brands as it is too expensive to replace GHDs every few years, so this was a treat to be offered.It is an attractive, but fairly basic set. The curlers are quite simple, but heat up quite quickly and are very easy to use. Curled hair with these does last for the majority of the day, which is impressive because my partner's hair doesn't last long after using her previous curlers.The brush included with this set is ok, but we prefer others that we have bought in stores.The set is presented in a very large but professionally designed box that would make for a great gift, but naturally I think this aspect does inflate the price somewhat.The included glove and heat proof mat are helpful although we don't bother with the (almost pointless) glove. The mat is a decent thickness and does absorb the heat without transferring it to the surface below so it's safe to use on most surfaces.All in all if you have some basic curling needs and thick hair, this will do a very good job, but may be a bit much if your hair is considerably thin due to the lack of settings.For the price I think this is good as a gift but we would want to pay a decent bit less as something for ourselves to use. The build quality is impeccable, so maybe it will last longer than others and that will justify the price.

I got these as a belated birthday present for my sister. To say she was pleased would be an understatement. It would seem that these are very much considered the Rolls Royce of hair curlers.She has used them enough to confirm to me that the reputation is earned. They heat up very quickly and create "good, clean curls", even on difficult to curl hair.Having seen the curlers myself I can see, even with non-expert eyes, that they are well designed and have that reassuringly "expensive" feel and look to them.My sister has owned many similar products but is adamant that these are the best to date. Pretty sure the GHD brand sells itself for good reason too!
