This filter media is awesome! It helps filter out impurities and smaller particles, but I really like that there is a color guide on the package. The different colors of the used media indicates certain issues that may be going on in the aquarium. Definitely helped me realize what I needed to adjust for a healthier tank. Definitely effective and durable. It's easy to cut to size for your filter. Great value and quality.

This original polyfilter pad is not like the newer generic knock off as that is more like a filter pad . This removed junk which is in the water , invisible junk and far superior then the knock off . I do place it 2 days prior in container of water just not going to risk a change in PH but just being cautious I have used these for years love them and again do not confuse it with the new generic knock off .

Excellent filtration. Cleans your tank up nicely and removes all toxins ammonia, nitrites and lowers nitrates. Stabilizes your system quickly making it safe for your fish.

Works like the package says it will. Although what they don’t tell you is you will need to buy multiple filters and keep replacing them until your problem is gone
