We have a small-ish tree (about 20 feet high) in the front yard that we wanted to drape with these types of cascading lights. Initially, I ordered 3 sets, but this was not nearly enough -- each set has 8 lights and covers about 6 feet of branch. The end result was that I placed two more orders and ended up with a total of 7 sets to get decent coverage. The good news is that they connect together easily so you don't need to worry about the outlet situation, you can plug them all into one (I used two outlets though just to be safe, no reason not to).The lights and cascading pattern look GREAT at night, very bright, you can see them from the end of the road and they stand out above other decorations -- it really adds a lot to the holiday ambience. They also held up fine to weather, we had snow and rain for many days and no issues with any lights going out or damage. Gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the dimensions and images may be mis-leading. If you have a large area to cover, plan on getting multiple sets. One or two just won't cover anything but maybe a bush -- so factor that into your total cost. We may buy even more for next year.

We have about 10 strands of these lights. They're the talk of the town! This is year 3 of our first sets, bought 2 more to add. Wish there were more lights on each strand, but it is what it is. Very happy.

Order came quickly and as indicated. The install was quick and easy. The best part is how they look...love the cascading light effect. In all probability I will buy more.

Very pretty lights when hung. I only had one set during christmas, but plan to buy more next year as it will look much better when there are multiple sets in the tree. Thinking 4-5 sets will work. $15 was more than i'd like to pay, i think it'd be better if they were $9.99.

I am very impressed with these lights. We used them for Christmas decorations inside our house! That only think I wish they had was a remote to have different settings. We had 5 all linked up together and they all work great! Really worth the buy!

I love outdoor lights and have had the same display for years. These lights are just what I needed to jazz things up. I only ordered 1 string, but I will order more for next year. I have them on my porch railing; one string would be too small for anything but a very small tree. They were packaged very well, and are a great bargain.
