I have used this for two sized pills. First size is the claritin size so its a very small pill, I lightly wrap it in the substance and roll it in my palm to the size of a pea. Dog just swallows it, 4 pills gone quick and easy.The second size pill was an antibiotic so this one was about 4 times the size as the first pill (multivitamin size). I tried lots of substance to wrap it, but he chewed it which resulted in him dropping it a few times. I would suggest with large pills to wrap it as light as you can to make it as small as you can so it is less likely they will chew it. After lightly covering the larger second sized pill he took it much quicker and was less likely to chew it, although it still happened a few times, I simply picked it up, rolled a little more on the opened capsule/chewed area and he quickly swallowed it.All in all it was very effective vs trying to hide it in peanut butter or a hotdog. Since I have used small amounts over the month, there is a lot left in the jar and it has stayed soft and pliable and has not hardened at all.

My dogs love this stuff. I have a handicap pup and he takes 4 pills a day. The other pup that takes one pill a day. It’s easy for me to wrap up and hand it to them. They are beagles and if you know beagles they don’t chew much. Only problem is they like it so much I have to put a dab on a milk bone for the other one not getting the pill so they think they are special too! If you are thinking about trying it I say do give it a try. I like the bacon and cheese one better than the peanut butter one, cause the PB doesn’t seem to hold together as well. Never had any tummy problems with it and they do have sensitive stomachs. Give it a try. I hope yours love it as much as mine.I hope they never stop making it cause I would be up a creek.

That my dogs love this stuff came as no surprise to me, but that our cats would happily eat it (along with the pill) came as a surprise! This stuff is awesome.I prefer it to the ”pill pocket” style pill-hiders because it is much easier to choose the amount you want to use.The only negative I can think of is that once the jar is opened, it will slowly dry out - but I think that’s the case with ANY of this kind of product.

Over many years we have used several pet pill wrap products, dog food and even small amounts of goat cheese. Most worked well for quite some time. And then they didn't. Our dogs were not fussy eaters and really never balked at meds. But some meds really needed a wrap of some kind.So I kept searching and read about Pet MD's products. I read reviews across multiple sites, etc. This is the best for both pet and parent. The paste is firm yet pliable (as my husband said, kinda like Play-Doh), not sticky or messy, no noticeable smell, no refrigeration required, a variety of flavors. Our boy loves the cheese & bacon -- a nice change of pace. We can wrap a thin amount and just add to his dinner. He also takes his morning pill easily. A small amount goes a long way. We are all happily pleased.

It worked for awhile until my little dog decided she didn't like it anymore. Initially she had to take several pills twice a day so it's understandable. She still has 2 weeks to go with only one pill once a day. She is taking with much encouragement needed. I recommend the product to having to shove pills down her throat.

This is the best thing we've tried and the peanut butter flavor is the one they never turn their noses up at. You can customize the size and it doesn't degrade the pill if you have them wrapped for a couple days. I like to get several wrapped up ahead of time (keep an empty container on hand) to save time in the morning. This also sticks to the edge of the dob bowl and they eat it right as I put their bowl down.

Thank you so much for creating this! We've had so much trouble trying to get Rusty to eat his pills with other pill pockets, but he actually gets excited when he sees his pills in this. He comes running if he's near enough to hear us unscrew the top ... running for his pills! Never thought I'd see the day. Great product.

These are so smart. They come in a variety of flavors and allow you to pinch the right amount for whatever pill you are using for your animal. Ulie ocket-type pilling products, these mold around the pill without any excess waste, making it as small as possible to be palatable to your dog or cat. I actually smoosh a small pill into the wrap and attach it to another treat or biscuit. My dogs don't even know they getting medicine ; )
