T8S 8CH Transmitter

This remote is probably the best value for money. It's super easy to use as it comes with a receiver that you don't have to do anything special to bind them. Just put the receiver in bind mode and turn on your controller and it's done. I I'm running an RC car and have not hit the maximum range yet. It says it goes pretty far so when I get an airplane I can just connect fast and go. The controller size is perfect for me benefits my needs excellently. I was extremely worried when I purchased, but I'm satisfied with its use and the ability to change parameters, set limits and modify curves. I've only had it for like a week or two now, but I'll let you know if anything changes. The only thing I would change is make the trim buttons a tad bit larger or more profound, but I think I'm the only one I would want that like that because I am paralyzed and it would help me push them easier. No more clunky transmitter for me.

This is a really nice gamepad style remote. I paired it with a RadioLink F121 FPV race drone and it works fine. Took a minute to figure out the paring protocol. IF you are thinking you can use this outside of any RadioLink products without running shady 3rd party configuration applications you're going to be wrong.

nice small transmitter with good range. Setup is easy with the app and the link to the receiver is reliable and seems to be a good range. Internal battery has a good (not great but good) life and recharge is quick. 8 channels covers most of what you need on drones or planes.

I don't know this area but this transmitter works for me.

I’ve used this controller for several projects since the handsets launch. I’ve built a simple powered pinewood car (single channel), a milk carton jet boat, 3 channels, and most recently, a 2 channel motion controller for a large 8” dobsonian telescope. As others have commented, the online and shipped instructions are hard to follow for native English speakers. However, if you take your time and re-read the instructions you will find that they actually DO make sense and include all of the important information. The controller is very simple to use and set up with a mobile device. Once paired with the mobile app, you can create different profiles and save them to your mobiles storage. Note: The handset does not store more than one profile to it’s internal memory at a time — but you can have as many mobile saved profiles as you want, so the claim of infinite profiles is technically not wrong, just not stored on the handset like with a much more expensive controller. In any event, I highly recommend this controller if you need something versatile and portable for a project and/or are not looking for a chunkier or do not mind having the full feature range require a paired mobile phone. Note: On Android, you will need to know how to side load an APK as the configuration tool is not properly available from the Google Play store but is instead a downloaded APK from the vendors website — once installed it works flawlessly however. In my case, with the telescope, I was able to set the altitude and azimuth “speed” ranges to reduce the maximum rotation speed allowing for manual slewing for astrophotography. The attached image is taken using the above telescope with a manual assist from the T8S controlled motors!

Never has a real RC controller before, figured this was worth $50. And it definitely is worth it if you just want to play around with the hobby once in a while. BUT you also get what you pay for, the controller feels cheap, like cheaper than holding a PS4 controller. There's minor stuttering in reciever, this might be my fault not sure. If I end up making a lot of RC stuff I'd probably spring for a slightly nicer full sized one. For now though, this was worth the money to get me started in RC.

THE CONTROLLER FITS IN YOUR HAND WELL. THE SPRING WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SET.. WHILE CHANGING MODES FROM AVIATION TO TERRESTRIAL. THE COMPANY SHOULD OFFER THE SRING PREINSTALLED. IE TWO VERSIONS. THE SOFTWARE IS NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. IF THE CONTROLLER IS DEPENDENT ON SOFTWARE TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY IT SHOULD BE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE OF SUCH ITEM. ONE GOOD THING IS THE BATTERY IT IS EASILY UNPLUGGED AND REPLACED AS NEED BE. ITS A GOOD FIRST ATTEMPT BUT THE PRODUCT NEEDS REFINEMENT FAST. A WATERPROOF FOUR CHANNEL TRANSMITTER IS REALLY THE INDUSTRY STANDARD THESE DAYS. RADIOLINKS FOUR CHANNEL TRANSMITTER IS FLIMSY (NON WATERPROOF). I WILL CONTINUE THIS REVIEW IF I CAN EVER GET THE SOFTWARE TO WORK TO CALIBRATE THE CONTROLLER END POINTS....FRUSTRATED

This thing is smaller than my goggles and I’m able to use it in my drone with Dji fpv as ell as my rc truck It’s even smaller than it looks and it has a great Bluetooth feature built in so you can set up the parameters through your phone in the field or at home on your computer! I used my home Pc to adjust parameters from the software link in the instructions. I struggle with computers but this was very easy Can’t believe a radio this small has all these features as well as works with all my different rc including wings that require elevon mixing Please see attached setup video Very good purchase

Internal rechargeable battery, excellent range, very compact for easy transport and all with a host customisable options via a simple phone app.

Nice a simple. I needed a simple RC remote for on the go. This unit works every time I turn it on. I tried updating the Firmware and the unit froze. Would not turn on again. I had to remove the back and unplug the battery. It started working again. I will not be updating the firmware. The unit is good but all the software and web site is not the best.
