Awefeel Double-Layer Satin Sleep Cap for Long Hair, Braids, Dreadlocks, Curly Hair

I LOVE this bonnet! I wish I had had one like this YEARS ago! The Cherry Blossom pattern is lovely the fabric is soft and silky (inside and out).Unlike some complaints I had read in the reviews, the head band is not too tight at all. I've worn this bonnet for over a week now and it has kept my FULL curly faux loc hairstyle in tact and like new!It does not slip off my head at night and I sleep like a baby! I have a 20 inch hairdo and I still have room to spare toward the bottom of the bonnet.

The main reason I ordered this satin sleep cap is because the description said "double layer" and conveniently one of the first reviews actually shows someone with a double sided lined satin bonnet. Well I ordered the black 100% polyester sleep cap and guess what? IT'S NOT LINED WITH SATIN!!! I'm disappointed. Why can't companies be honest and upfront? Is the double sided cap specifically for a certainpattern or only smaller size? I ordered the medium. So why is the supposed satin aka 100% polyester not lined inside of the bonnet? That is what you are advertising that you are selling. I see alot of reviews saying that it is double sided but I do not see how this is possible. My advice would be to order from another company that will send you what is correctly advertised. Unfortunately, this item is not double sided. The length is fine and the band. Please take note of the pictures and be cautious when ordering.

I have tried A LOT of hair bonnets, and I think this may be my favorite. I wish it were silk satin instead of polyester satin but the double-lining still does the job.When I first put it on, it was VERY uncomfortable because it was so tight. Then I realized I just had to adjust how I was wearing it. I have always worn other hair bonnets covering my ears to stay on. This is such a snug fit that it stays on PERFECTLY without covering my ears. The absolute best staying power of any bonnet I have ever tried - and I toss and turn A LOT, so that is really saying something.And because it goes behind my ears, I can actually keep it on to wash my face - something other bonnets have claimed to be able to do but didn't work in practice.I am definately going to buy more in other patterns. I highly recommend.

I rarely give 5 star reviews, but wow. I am a super rough sleeper, I toss and turn all night, and have literally never found a scarf that will stay on. I have a draw full of scarf types I’ve tried over the years. I have zero idea how this one is staying on, not moving an inch, and is so comfortable...but I’m already buying a second one for the future. The edge is this soft kinda cotton elastic that lays on my forehead, and the rest inside and out is silky smooth. My hair is in long crochets, and not snagging/catching at all. It’s honestly amazing to me that the scarf doesn’t move. And I’ve only found a few scarfs that fit all my hair easily, but none of them stayed on my hair. Would definitely recommend. I haven’t washed it yet, but I think it will hold up nicely.

I recently got a braided hairstyle (26" long box braids) and needed something that could fit all the braids at night while I sleep without clumping up the braids or being uncomfortable. This cap is perfect. Not only does it hold all these braids, but it's comfortable and does not slip off at night. The band around the head is the most comfortable head scarf/cap I've ever owned.

Not Satin, tag on the inside says 100% polyester. Very disappointed.

The band on this item is a bit too snug (I wake up with mild headaches), but otherwise it's a blessing for my hair. It is long, and for years I've either 'pineappled' it or stuffed it into too small night caps. It would take forever to fluff and shape it. With this, I take it off, run my fingers through, and I'm done. No more flat tops or back. I'm going to work on stretching the band out a bit so I can wear it all night again. Kinda sucks because it was doing such a great job up until the headaches kicked in.

I was excited about this item and was looking forward to wearing it on the first night, but I had to return it almost immediately. There are so many things wrong.First, as many others have noted, this is not satin as advertised! We don't fall for the ol' "magic satin" hype anyway -- satin is satin -- but it at least could be the material advertised.Second, it is NOT the 27 inches as advertised! At best, when stretched out fully, it is 25 1/4" from headband to the furthest end. There's a chance that some truly are 27", but obviously not all (if any) are. /// Edited to add: MEASURE YOUR HAIR from where the headband will start all the way to the ends of your hair. So if your bonnet usually rests just above your eyebrows, measure from that point on. That might easily add 3" you'll need to account for.ATTENTION -- THOSE WITH LONG LOCS: this item is a toss up, meaning some have reported this bonnet holds their hair well, but not so much for others. I'm one of the others. My locs are long and some are thick (almost all are thicker than sisterlocks). That means between the length and the weight, this bonnet is NO MATCH. My hair was instantly bunched up and crooked at the bottom of the bonnet with no chance of having a smooth rest like that. It didn't let my hair fall naturally into place at all, and the bunching made the bonnet ride up high on my back like I was carrying a knapsack. This bonnet is better for thinner & lighter hair, or at least shorter.Third, the headband would end up doing more harm than good if I stuck with this. Again, it's not satin, and because it won't hold my long locs, I felt it pulling on my edges/hairline instantly upon trying it on for the first time. I knew right away to never spend time with this on my head.Fourth, I received no scrunchy as advertised and as some others have. The packaging doesn't mention it, and it doesn't even state the size of the bonnet on the packaging. This is a basic "beauty store" non-USA made product with improper English labeling.Fifth, oddly, this bonnet was noisy. That's right -- noisy. As soon as I got it on, I could hear the plastic sound when I turned my head from side to side. I was not expecting that. I can only imagine how bothersome that might be late in the dark of night when turning over to get back to sleep. No thanks.I could have simply cut the bottom of the bonnet and used it like that, but why? I didn't pay $17 only to destroy an item I just received. Besides, I'd still have my ends exposed. I will apply my credit to an item that works better for me. I won't waste money or time.
