Top notch as always with Shun
Upgraded from my 8 year old 10 piece classic and as always with Shun the knives are awesome. But like many or multiple reviews state the block is not worthless but close. I'm going to attempt to cut it and give it a little more angle because I won't be able to get the knives out without moving it from underneath the cabinet because it's too vertical.

I LOVE these knives. My husband wanted them and we needed new knives since our many years old knives were worn out. Wasn’t too sure about them at first but after using them for a couple of weeks I’m sold!

Worth every penny!
Absolutely love love love these knives after a good friend recommended that so cough up some real cash and buy Kai-Shun. I was so hesitant at first but now… I FREAKING LOVE THESE. Little to no effort to slice and very comfortable grip. I have lefties and righties at home so this is the perfect set! Wish the scissors came with it … but I’ll buy it soon :)

Super sharp knives
Super sharp blades, lightweight. Disappointing that the block arrived dented and starting to split. Amazon and the seller (their bots anyway) each pointed to the other claiming someone else was responsible for shipping issues. Amazon customer service could only offer a return of the entire set. It took some searching, but finally figured out how to contact the seller. They replaced the block immediately.

So Happy With This Purchase
Very Expensive knives but well worth the money. Beautifully crafted. My only issue was that I wished I could have chosen the knife block. I ended up buying a separate knife block.

Wonderfull Knives Horrible Block
After using this knife set for almost a month now, I have discovered that the knives themselves are great. Razor blades are dull in comparison. The biggest shortcoming I found is that the knife block that comes with the set is garbage. I had to buy another aftermarket block that fits the blades of the knives better then the one included and also has more steak knife slots. And the design of the block makes you think it was designed by some kid who figured it would work better this way.
