My daughter uses this in her kitchen and I was impressed with it but had still not bought any. Cue my move into a new rental. New pans, new stove and my request to have my husband help me learn how to put a good sear on something. FIRE. SMOKE. Firefighter community lessons were put to good use and we put out the pan fire but not before the smoke did its damage on the pan, the lid, the wall, and the brand new white microwave. We tried all the Internet and friend recommended tips to get things clean, but none worked. Finally, I bought Barkeeper’s Friend. It worked so well and quickly! The pans and lid? They look brand new! The wall? Clean. The microwave was the one I was worried about. Would it scratch the plastic? It did not scratch the plastic! The microwave is back to factory settings. Barkeeper’s Friend worked so fast I was shocked! Whew. All evidence of The Great Pan Fire of 2026 - gone. Rental deposit protected. I will be gifting Barkeepers Friend to all my friends who recommended failed tips for cleaning. I learned something AMAZING today! 😃Yesterday I was cleaning my toilet, just as I have done every week for 40 years - except I ran out of toilet bowl cleaner so I added another cleaner to the bowl. After leaving the cleaners soaking in the toilet for half an hour, much to my dismay the toilet bowl was an ugly dark gray below the waterline. No matter how I scrubbed (I tried a scouring pad with Comet and even tried bleach) nothing it would remove the ugly dark grey discoloring.Googling this mysterious phenomenon, I learned that it could be one of two things: either a chemical reaction caused the discoloration, or the protective enamel coating of the porcelain was destroyed and I would have to replace the toilet! (because without the enamel the toilet is not only ugly but prone to harboring bacteria)AI suggested Bar Keepers Friend, which I immediately ordered on Amazon and received this morning.I drained out the toilet water and gave it a try and lo and behold it worked!Like magic it removed the dark gray coloring when nothing else would.This is my new favorite product! It shined up my stainless steel sink as well and my stovetop! I have used this in the past, but I had forgotten how good it is to have on hand. 👍👍

Well water? Yellow tubs or showers? This is the product you want!!! My mother-in-law told be about this “old school” product she swears by that’s she’s used for years in all her rentals, so I give it a try and I have never been happier!! It made my shower look brand new! Our water softener broke and we were without a softener for a few months so the tub was YELLOW! You wet the shower down sprinkle this product all over let it sit for a couple then use a scrubber (I used an sos pad) and it came off with ease! Looks like a different shower!

Ive used every single chemicals and method known to man. Moved into a house that sat with a bad water heater. Between the sediment and the yellow build up I was going insane. 8 months later I hear about bar keepers friend. Applied, rubbed, and couldnt believe it. I have defeated the yellow ring of filth.Won't let me add pictures but I pinky promise this stuff works

This product is decent. Its not scrub proof. You still need a good amount of elbow grease, but it does clean better than spray cleaners I have tried on hard water stains in shower.

I keep finding new stuff to clean with this stuff and it all comes out sooo shiny and clean. Bathtub, dishes with stuck on food, my dogs bowls are SHINY! It doesn’t take a lot of crazy scrubbing either just the normal amount. Love this stuff. I won’t ever go without it.

Omg this stuff was amazing!!! I wish I would have thought to do before and after photos because the results were truly mind blowing!We had a faded black colored stain that kind of was always in the tub since we moved here 3 years ago from what looked like a tub mat pattern. Then use of my own tub mat created rust. I looked up how to remove the rust and found out about this product and went right to Amazon and ordered it. Not gonna lie, at first I thought it was a bit costly but got it anyway.To clean the tub I removed the tub mat and threw it out. Then I wet the tub and sprinkled the Bar Keepers Friend powder. I let it sit a few hours and came back to see the rust was already lifted off the tub before I even scrubbed or wiped it! I still scrubbed it with a cleaning brush and I saw the old faded black stain started to come off too. So after rinsing I decided to use it one more time. I went back in with a 2nd round of Bar Keepers Friend powder and the cleaning brush and the old faded black stain is gone now too. Tub looks practically new again. I highly recommend this product!

Old-time product that does an excellent job on stainless pans, copper, and who knows what else. Test it on any surface first. Don't breathe the dust!
