LG Electronics 43UF6400 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2015 Model)

LOVE IT. This review is after only a few hours of use. I'll update later after longer use and better familiarity. Having LG bluray players this was a very simple and similar setup. Have a VIZIO in another room which I am happy with but when it is time to replace it I'll most definitely replace with another LG.Pros: Excellent picture, up-scales content, ease of setup/connectivity, price (dropped to $597 so I couldn't pass it up), Has apps not available on my bluray playerCons: Rear connectors (wish they were side connectors), remote (usable but will replace with Logitech), Web OS2 (handy, but for playback of network video files it lacks the options to advance to a time/chapter while playing. LG bluray player has this ability and this tv plays the same formats, so this is a step back in my opinion).Wish the Web OS had a one touch connectivity or web based setup. Using a remote to navigate a keyboard sucks, this should be something all manufacturers should work to eliminate.Update 4/1/2016Still love this TV, the picture is excellent. But, still has some minor issues in my opinion. The SmartShare application has trouble keeping up trans coding video files. I have this connected wireless to my server and it has buffer issues, un-watchable on any encoding rate. Yet when the same file is played through my LG BP530 bluray player, also connected wireless and only inches away from the TV, everything plays fine.Wish it was possible to shut off searching for a signal, no input currently other than Bluray or Chromecast. Annoying when it pops up everytime TV is powered on.

The TV is really good if you're looking for a 4k tv well in your budget. I got the 49" version.The display is pretty good and scales up 1080p video very well. I have hooked up my playstation 4 and the new Apple TV, and don't find any issues with 1080p content. I can play games like Destiny and COD and don't face any issues.The only thing that I didn't find impressive about it was the inbuilt app performances. So if you're watching a video on Youtube from the webOS app, you'll notice some performance issue like video not running too smooth. However, if you play same content from PS4 or Apple TV app, you'll find noticeable performance improvement. I initially thought maybe this could be because the webOS app is playing 4k content, while PS4 and AppleTV can only stream 1080 videos. But, even with 1080 videos, the webOS app has issues. Maybe this can fixed by software update in future. And yes, the LG appstore has regular updates for all webOS apps. This gives me some hope.The sound quality is also good. I compared with one of the Samsung TV my friend got for about $1000, and I find this one's far better.The is a very good product at this price range and I'd definitely recommend it.

This TV is tremendous! I replaced a three week old 2015 40" Samsung smart TV that was the dumbest purchase I have ever made. I didn't notice that the Samsung screen was so flexible until after I got it home. I thought it was strange having such thin protection over the circuitry that produces the picture. I'm 67 and have seen all the televisions since their inception. The Samsung had less than ten hours on it and all of a sudden the right 1/3 of the screen went black with several colored lines through it. Then the bottom area started getting darker. I went through the process and they sent a technician to the house. He checked the software and said it was not covered because something had hit it. It was picked up out of the box and put on the credenza. Nothing had touched it. I checked the Internet and there was all sorts of info about failures of these flexible screen tv's that Samsung is producing. I replaced it with this 43 inch LG. I couldn't be happier. Tremendous picture and software. We have five televisions. All have great pictures. This LG is the best. I went to Best Buy to get an LG in the first place and was pushed to the Samsung after they told me that LG was concentrating more on larger TV's. I should have known it was just a marketing ploy. I told Samsung that I would be certain my four adult kids, my Grandchildren and friends would know what I thought about their products. They didn't care. My future business wasn't worth the 200 dollars it probably cost them to build that 40 inch flex screen TV.

The media could not be loaded.  TVs are not cheap enough yet such that they are disposable after 6 months. Loved it until 6 months in it stopped working. Audio works but visual looks like the video below. We tried several different inputs through the antennae and both HDMI ports. Amazon rep was very friendly and helpful, but the factory reset and static electricity discharge procedures did not resolve the issue. LG scheduled a contractor to come out and look at it since it is still under warranty. I will subsequently update the review.Updated - LG sent a repair team out within a few days under warranty. They fixed TV in less than 1/2 hour. Still a little disappointed in the quality of the TV given it broke within 6 months, but the repair was pretty painless.

La TV tiene una excelente calidad de vídeo, sonido y opciones de instalación de componentes (consolas, equipos de sonido, etc). Lo malo, de verdad... El control es pésimo, gente de la tercera edad se confunde mucho con el mismo, solicitan constantemente soporte y ayuda en como manipularlo adecuadamente; LG tiene que poner atención en esto.En general, es un buen producto. Ofrece buena calidad, solo hay que poner atención en el control es todo.

Al mes de adquirirla fallo algún componente interno y no proyectaba imagen. El servicio de LG la reparo y no he tenido ningún problema hasta el momento (más de año y medio de uso). Lo mejor es que con el sistema que integra solo conectas una memoria y puedes disfrutar de todas tus películas, aunque estas sean en formato .MKV

La pantalla me ha salido muy buena he podido sincronizarla con mi laptop, con mi ipad, no he tenido problemas, todo lo contrario es de buena calidad la imagen de video, mas cuando veo netflix, la recomiendo ampliamente

se compro en una oferta que tenia amazon, es un buen televisor no ha dado signos de desgaste o calentamiento para una pantalla smart barata y confiable es la opcion, (es recurrente que entre en promociones)

Tiene lo que necesito y funciona perfectamente, lo uso como monitor y funciona muy bien para tareas normales así como para jugar.No soy extremadamente exigente con el input-lag, pero para lo que lo necesito es mas que adecuado.
