Need some minor tuning.
At this price, and with this many tools, I wasn't expecting absolute tops. Still, what I received is very fair for the price. My humble opinion. Handsome tools, I like the case, am happy the kit was delivered with a sharpening guide if I'm not yet sure of it's real value. From what I have seen, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Though, given the whole tool set, even if it doesn't work, that isn't a loss. It's only a potential extra, and gain, or not. Not the focus, main point.I have used them, un-tuned. They work, but a little touch, here and there, and these will be readier for primetime.

Well made tools for a reasonable cost
They seem to be well made. I did notice the edge on a few was a little rough but I can smooth that out. I spend a lot of time sharpening my tools so it's not unusual.

Nice gift for a word worker
The chisels themselves are very nice, but the wooden storage box is cheaply made and the lid had delaminated. Luckily my son who I gave this to for his birthday said he will be able to fix the lid. The corners of the shipping box looked like they had been dropped.

Happy with purchase
Pretty good. The wood box isn't the best, but if you need chisles of this quality you can build a better box. Sharp right out of the box after you get the coating off.I can tell they are good quality and spot on for the money.Would definitely recommend to someone for a mid range set of chisles!

Not the finest quality
Didn’t look like it was made well. It looked liked it was used already. Sending it back

Great set of Wood Chisels
Im a journeyman carpenter that now retired from the trade. I bought these wood Chisels for gift to my son as I knew what they were and how they are to be used in his case on special projects that the older best up ones will not do.

Good chisels for it price
I just started working on wood, specifically on cigar box guitars. This chisels are sharped, and stay like that for at least 100 hours of use. I have not sharpen mine yet.Try to use special gloves to avoid any cuts, I “blew” some flesh while using it because of its sharpness.Their handle is very ergonomic. The points comes with a plastic that covers it and it is very practical. The wooden box makes it look fancy but the price of it is just right. This box is an amazing gift for anyone that is starting on this hobby of wood craft.

Great for the price.
I wasn't going to give these chisels nearly five stars, but then I thought about what I paid for them. 8 chisels and the sharpening stone and jig, and a decent box too, for $80? That's a great deal.I'm not going to try to convince you that these are great chisels. They aren't. But they aren't so bad either, and it can be really nice to have just the right width sometimes. So, if you are on a budget and want something decent, I'd recommend this set.One last note, if you have twice this much to spend, buy this set anyway. With the $80 you save, go buy one really good chisel, probably a 1", but depending on what you do. Don't but that on Amazon, get it from a serious woodworking source. You'll have one chisel that will last you a lifetime and a set that will fill in the gaps while you take your time and build a really quality set as you need it over the years.
