Source Naturals Men's Life Force Multiple - 180 Tablets

I switched from Rainbow Light Men's One and started taking this multivitamin a month ago. I decided to move to this multivitamin because its highly regarded and more bioavailable. Life Force Multiple was rated #5 out of 101 by one study: [...]. When choosing a multivitamin I think its really important that the vitamin and minerals come in good forms. From what I've read, this multivitamin has the best forms and uses multiple forms for many of the vitamins. Since taking this, I've felt a more positive mood and have been more focused at work. Having said that, there are a few things I don't like about this multivitamin. Vitamin K is not listed in the label and so I do not think it is included in this multivitamin. Vitamin D is kind of low at only 400IU, which is bad for me because my vitamin D levels came back really low and barely within range even though I had been taking Men's One that has 800IU everyday. So I have been taking Twin Lab D3 plus K2 dots along with this product. This Vitamin has green tea extract, which can be up to 10% caffeine so one serving can have a max of 7.5mg caffeine. Because of the caffeine and B vitamins, I would say that this multivitamin is not good to take before bed. I really like this multivitamin and plan on either sticking with this or moving to the regular Life Force Multiple No Iron tablets. I have a hard time justifying buying these when there isn't too much more added and it is so much more expensive. Its ~$17 per month for these and only ~$11 per month for regular Life Force Multiple No Iron tablets if you take 1 serving per day. For the extra $6 a month you get 200mg of saw palmetto, 150mg of ashwagandha, 100mg of damiana, 100mg of Asian ginseng root extract, 75mg of Swedish Flower Pollen Extract, 60mg of bromelain, 60mg of stinging nettle root, 50mg of pygeum bark, 50mg of wasabi rhizome, 50mg of oat straw aerial parts, and 25mg pumpkin seed extract.

I did some research on at least 3 independent studies for best absorption rate and quality of ingredients and source naturals was in the top ten on all 3 and also it wasn't expensive at all. I was taking GNC sport for men before and it only ranked 83rd on 1 of the studies! After the 1st week, I didn't see that much difference. After the second week, I started to notice more energy and a few other perks. I've been taking these vitamins now for over 6 months and my wife comments that I'm getting my hair cut more often, trimming my nails more often, and working out more (which is saying a lot since I'm also a roofer). I'm really quite impressed. My wife noticed such a difference that even she is taking the female version now. Oh... and people do comment on the smell, which there is one but big deal, and the size of the pills... The pills are large, to say the least. But guess what, it's worth it.

In terms of impact, I give this product 5 stars. I can feel the difference after taking it for about 2 weeks. I am far more productive in those late afternoon hours, and I have been able to find the energy to push myself much harder in my workouts. You can never rule out the possibility of the placebo effect, but I feel the vitamins are helpful. The reason for the 4 star overall is based on 2 things. Taste, and size. For a vitamin that you take 3 times a day, I would expect they could make it a bit smaller. It is ginormous. As for taste, oh my is it terrible. It is not coated in any way, and the smell alone turns my stomach. I have gagged on them several times already. I can't even leave one sitting on my desk at work or the smell makes me ill. That being said, I force myself to take it as I feel it is worth it. If you have a decent gag reflex or a sensitive nose like me, it is just something to be aware of.

The ingredients, performance, health benefits, of which I've experienced with this product is unlike no other. I used to use Opti-Men by Optimum Nutrition for a while as it was a fairly thorough multi-vitamin for men, but looking at some of the ingredients, I wondered if I couldn't find something else that made more efficient use of 3 horse pills daily - for example, Opti-Men includes spinach in its multi-vitamin...something you're likely to get in a far more useful quantity in your diet rather than in a minuscule amount in the pills. Men's Life Force Multiple has a lot of really great things for Men that they're not likely to get in other multi-vitamins like Swedish Flower Pollen, Pygeum, Wasabi Rhizome, Pumpkin Seed Extract, Bromelain, Quercetin, Cordyceps & Turmeric. The pills are quite big, but I don't have an issue swallowing them, and I can take them on an empty stomach without discomfort, unlike a multi like Centrum.

A lot of broken pieces in the bottle. Contacted the MFG, but at least Amazon refunded my money. I will not buy this product again, nor can I recommend it.

Read the label. Supplements matter and studies prove this product has the elements to assist along with a healthy lifestyle.
