The most perfect mug
I spent a year researching before purchasing this mug - it is perfect 10/10.It’s slim vessel fits perfectly in car cup holders - this feature is, believe it or not, very difficult to find for some reason.- the handle is also perfectly shaped and positioned so it doesn’t get in the way when inserted into a cup holder. The handle is shaped and placed in the most amazing spot that brings incredible balance and control of the mug.It has two openings positioned on each side of the lid so you can hold it in any position to take a sip - the twist lid is also engineered to lock in with the opening perfectly aligned with the handle for optimal mug maneuvering when taking a sip. - the lid has no crevices or indents that could hold excess liquid and create a mess, how it allows you to consume it content is almost unnecessarily efficient for a mug.It keeps the temperature so well Im convinced it’s magic. Once I screw the lid on, it literally stays the same temperature all day long. I often announce confidently that “the temperature has been sealed!” as I screw in the lid. I haven’t yet reached the limits of this mug in its ability to keep my coffee nice and hot.All materials, the brushed metal, plastic lid, rubber gaskets, and whatever else magical ingredient was used for this mug is of the highest quality. It has the heaviness and the density of a luxury item.It looks amazing. It’s graceful shape reminds me of the Supertrees in Singapore - something that combines the beauty of nature and science.I’m not biased - Im unsure how long the button system for the lid will hold up or what mechanisms could complicate this beautiful liquid containment system but I trust it’s designer for making this choice.

A practically perfect travel cup
My wife and I both love our morning coffee, and we are both prone to spillage, and so we have been through a great many different travel cups over the years. This mug is, for all practical purposes, ideal if you need a base small enough to fit into even the smallest cup holders.First of all, the claims made for the cup in terms of how long it keeps things hot are conservative; we've found it keeps coffee at drinking temperature for fully 12 hours. This is in fact almost a liability if you need your coffee to cool a bit before drinking. In this regard, I recommend not pre-heating the cup, and letting the contents cool off for five minutes before putting the top on.Second of all, the construction is first-rate. The cup itself is made of stainless steel, the handle and lid of hard (ABS, I believe) plastic, and the seals of silicone. The interior of the cup tends to resist buildup compared to most stainless steel linings. The lid simply will not leak when properly screwed in and closed, and is reasonably simple to disassemble and clean (I have found that this is only necessary once a week; otherwise, a submerging in soapy water and a thorough rinse will do the trick for the inside). The drink comes out at a proper rate, neither too slowly nor too quickly. It has openings right where you need them, using either hand.It has a nice flat base, making it as stable as possible for something with such a high center of gravity, and the button is easy to operate unless the internal vacuum has built up (I recommend opening and closing the top shortly after putting it on to avoid this at the start). The exterior never gets hotter than lukewarm.I have only two small criticisms, neither anywhere near being deal-breaking. The first is that it is very difficult to tell by sight whether the lid is opened or closed. It was easier when the ring at the base of the button was red, but now it is black, which is an unfortunate change. You really have to push the button and judge its status by feel. The second criticism is that the base is a bit too easily dented when dropped. Once the base is dented, the cup loses its stability when not in a holder. One important usage tip: DO NOT OVERFILL. The lid intrudes into the cup several inches, so be sure to fill only to the bottom ridge inside.Other than the two small criticisms above, I cannot imagine how this cup could be any more well-suited for keeping your beverages hot, and keeping them from spilling.

EXCELLENT - BEST TYPE OF THIS MUG I HAVE YET FOUND
It has one of the few OPEN/CLOSED buttons which generally works (although it can be hard to tell which position the button is in). When the top is closed, the very deep lid not only prevents spilling (except for the few drops sitting on top) but keeps the heat in a very, very long time. Even open, the heat retention is amazing. The handle, top and mug are all well made and have survived many drops without issue (the top seems particularly resistent to scuffing, a common problem on past dropped mugs). I liked my first one so much, I bought one with a handle, then a second one and often fill both on road trips with the second mug still too hot to drink after I finish the first. After I raved about it, my wife tried it and was so impressed she got one herself (and complains that it keeps her tea too hot for too long). My only real complaint is that the two drinking openings can be a challenge to properly align with your mouth (it is NOT a 360 opening as the saleswoman told me initially - there are two slots opposite each other for drinking + ventilation). If you get the one without the handle, you need to be incredibly careful where you drink - and/or mark the drinking slots in some manner (I used a white paint marker for SCUBA equipment to make marks on the top of the lid, then switched to the handle ones which I much prefer). If you use the one with the handle, while the openings are generally above and below the handle, the lids do not all tighten to the same spot so you still need to be aware of where the openings are. Betweem us. my wife and I have four of these and the drinking holes are in slighly different positions on each mug. Care must be taken not to drink from the wrong spot and dribble on yourself :-)WARNING TO THOSE WHO PAY PEOPLE TO FILL THEIR MUGS: Coffe/tea shops are generally not used to mugs with lids that go down so deep in the mug and most over-fill it. If you fail to warn them, you will have to toss out an inch+ of liquid to get your top on.
