Cowl Light Mount Pillar Cube Light Mounting Brackets for Jeep JL Wrangler & Gladiator JT 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025- Pair

These do not fit the Gladiator Mohave! I had these installed on my Wrangler JL. They're great. Very sturdy, great material and quality. Simple design, easy to install. Ordered these again for my new Gladiator but they don't fit. Does fit other Gladiator models though. My husband has the Gladiator High Altitude so we'll install them on his truck.

These are great light mounts. Easy to install and very sturdy. There were no sharp edges. All edges were deburred or chamfered. It came originally black, but the finish faded over time (almost a year). It is a greyish-brown now, which I think looks fine. It almost looks anodized - not powder coated, as advertised. These were a much better deal when I bought them ($15.99 + tax). Fits perfect on my 2020 Gladiator.Update 12-2-23: I removed one star due to the color fading. See the last two pictures. You can see the original black from the light's footprint. It has faded to almost a grey/bronze color. I will probably spray paint it black. Still a solid mount.

Nice and solid, no signs of corrosion after a year. Appear to be very high quality, and a good value for the price. Would buy again if I bought another JL.

Will not fit driver side 4xe model. Due to the plug port on the driver side the mount will hit the cowl piece. However with a round Allen head for the light and a washer under the supplied black plastic washer at the cowl bolt, it will give it enough clearance. I spent another $5 on stainless steel bolts, nylock nuts and a washer. Supplier should supply the extra washer for 4xe models

I have 2024 jeep wrangler sport. Mount won’t work as now hood hinge cap can’t reach the threads of the hinge pin. Got the wiring all done and now this. Description does not depict an elongated cap to hold mount onto hinge. Very disappointed. Hours of install and a PIA to take it all out again.

I've had these on my Jeep for about two years now. They still look like new and they work great.

So, lets start by stating, the quality of this bracket is actually quite nice. No sharp edges, everything rounded off and smooth. Overall, the bracket, I'd give a solid A.The MOUNTING HARDWARE (bolts), however.. I would give a solid F to.Let me explain, after mounting my passenger side mount, I discovered the driver's side bolt hex slot/hole is not quite the proper size for any hex wrench (Metric, or otherwise). I made it work, but not before the entire hole on the head of the bolt stripped out.After attempting to cut a slot into the head, (cutting wheel broke, and left an ugly gouge in the plastic cowl), and then spending 2 hours extracting the bolt (had to use titanium bits to get the extraction hole created) I finally got the bolt removed, and replaced it with a REAL bolt.As for the mounting hole sizes, I also ran into the same issue as a previous reviewer, where the mounting bolt for my lights wouldn't fit.However, what I don't believe the previous reviewer was aware of, is that these brackets are aluminum, and drilling them out won't cause rust at all. (Because, aluminum doesn't rust) It DOES make it look a bit tacky, however.. so as much as I love these brackets, I've already ordered a different set, that will not only not require drilling out, but will give me the option to mount multiple lights, in multiple positions.I DO echo the sentiment of another reviewer, who simply asked why they didn't just use the existing hardware that Jeep supplied. Seems a bit short sighted.Overall, though, I do still like the quality of the bracket, and it deserves the rating.. a few more tweaks would make it an amazing item.
