Good quality, good directions and the metal clips that go on the backside of the drywall are better than the typical plastic ones. Where you run the low voltage cables is just open, would be better with some sort of flexible material over opening to reduce air flow into or from wall opening. As a result I would look for something different next time.

We used this to hang out new skylight calendar to the wall. This worked great to keep the cords behind the skylight unit so wires aren't running down the wall. This fit in a 2x4 wall but goes all the way to the sheet rock on the backside.

Got this for my jumbo skylight calendar. Worked perfectly to hide the wires and was easy enough to install (by a professional). We didn't have electricity in the wall I wanted it on so we had to have that added.

Great outlet, had the screws that attach from the inside to the wall. All I had to do after connecting the wires is tighten the screws. It worked perfectly and the template saved me so much time

Don’t waste your money, first off it arrived with the receptacle loose inside the white box part so it came all scratched up. Second the clips that hold it in place in the wall are weak and one snapped off while I was loosening it after doing a trial fit in the hole I made. Lastly the tamper resist receptacle is so tamper resistant that you can’t even plug anything in. Oh and one more thing the opening is small and plug has to be forced through it’s so tight. Good idea but Rubbish product

Well built. Metal box meets Code in Canada. No surge protection in outlet only tamper proof. For the price I expected surge protection. You can install your own outlet which is what I'll do to add surge protection. Fast delivery.

Fit in the wall just as I wanted, but the plug that was packed with it was loose and scratched up the inside of the plastic quite a bit. Luckily it will be mostly out of sight.

Didn’t work for my application. Check the thickness of your wall material before ordering. I was trying to use it on a 3/4” T&G pine wall. I could not get a return as I was more than 30 days from date of purchase.
