WORKS WELL AS ADVERTIZED, LONG LIFE

I received my bearing in a ziplock bag, no wrapping. No indicator on the bearing (other than size) who made it or where. The add shows boxes of SKF bearings. Hard to say how long they will last, so only 3 stars. No obvious place to ask a question, so posting it here.

Installe in my MTD-Bolens mowing tractor Mowing deck easely. I did not remove the spimgles as this might cause the self tapping bolds that hold the aspindle to the deck frame to shear off as I have read in many posted comments. so that means you end up buying complewte new spindle assemblies for about $80-$150. The bearings cost a small fraction of that. Difficulty is 3-4 wrenches out of 5. removing and replacing the deck on the tractor is not easy either.As far as the bearings are concerned: they appear to be of good quality and should last several years.

fits right and seems to be sealed against water. This is replacing a lawn mower part, so if it comes apart it is not critical, i just buy the right part at 10 times the cost, but it is working fine. lets see if it goes 20 years like the original.

These are a perfect replacement fit for the bearings built into the mower spindles on my lawn tractor. They are much higher quality than the OEM bearings and I'm expecting to run many more months without a rebuild now that I've upgraded the spindles with these new bearings. And, they cost a fraction of what the new spindles would run.

Cheap and fit well. Feels a little stiff and out of the four bearings sent, one looked like it came from a different manufacturer. Easy install, so I'm not too worried about a short life cycle.

They are made in China but seem to be decent quality and were 1/3 the price of the local parts store which were made in China as well. So far working good in mower spindles.

Used to repair old spindle, have not yet used spindle.
