Great MIDI cable
This is a very rugged MIDI cable. It lays flat and wraps easily. Don't waste your money on a Monster - this one is made just as well and has a lifetime warranty.

Works great in my studio
I use this to connect my Yamaha DTX drumset to my PC. I don't experience ANY lag or latency....no need to change any buffer settings. The sound quality is fantastic, and because the cable is so long I can run it behind things and out of sight!

Doesn't insert very firmly
While the cable itself seems to be made well, the plugs at the ends of the cable aren't long enough to insert firmly into the MIDI sockets found on my Voodoo Labs Ground Control Pro nor my Axe FX compared to my other MIDI cables that use Neutrik plugs. This makes me worry that it might be rather easy to pull the cable out on accident if I trip over it.I haven't had any issues yet, but if I do I'll probably move on to try something else; I suspect that there are better options out there.

Good cables, good support
these are great cables, lifetime warranty that I have taken advantage of at least twice in the past (I've had a LOT of cables, for many years, (not a lot of problems)), the warranty process has been fast and easy each time.I'm OCD and like my cables to match (hate me for it) these say D'Addario, even though they're advertised as Planet Waves. Not a biggie, but the description should definitely be updated because it is not correct.

These Are Good but Cheaper MIDI Cables Will Get the Job Done
I found my old, cheap, generic MIDI cable after ordering these and did an A/B test on the two going from my synthesizer to my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 to my Windows 10 laptop running ProTools with the Mini Grand plugin. My ears could not tell any difference between them. I'm going to keep these anyway. Hey, there's something to be said for the placebo effect of having a higher quality cable. If you're on a budget, I'd recommend just sticking with a Hosa or Monoprice MIDI cable even though you won't get the limited lifetime warranty like you do with D'Addario.I've attached some photos. One shows my generic MIDI cable next to the D'Addario one. Another shows the convenient little bungee cable tie that comes with the D'Addario cable.
