This is the best little saw for the money. It is making my shed project easier. I can use the saw without fearing it, because it has great safety features and cut through 2x4 with little effort. The laser works great as a guide.

I bought this so that I could do quick cuts wherever I needed to. However, this has become one of my favorite go-to tools now. Now, despite some issues, I am still giving this 5 stars because I have put this tool to the test and, boy howdy, was it up for the challenge! It is hardy and tough, however it will start to become very hot after prolong use. And, by prolong use, I am talking about an hour of non-stop cutting. If you are using it off and on, then no worries. The overall vibration level is minimal, in my opinion. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip. Also, it isn't too thick for my small hands BUT not so thin that I feel like I could snap it over my knee. It does have a safety that, once held to start the saw, you can let go of. Lastly, the dust collector worked for a little while, though it wasn't super effective. However, the cheap, plastic hose got bent and that was that. Honestly, you could craft or buy a new and better one or just not worry about it. I will say that you will want to occasionally suck the sawdust out. I mean, it is still a circular saw, so expect dust.All in all, if you are in the market for a inexpensive, but awesome mini circular saw, grab this. It is pretty awesome!P.S. It does have an accurate laser guide. Just know that it is battery powered and doesn't share power with the saw. Probably for the best, really. Oh, and the guide is nice, straight, and works well. And, it stays put so no slipping.

This power saw seems very durable, better than I expected.I took off one star because it came with just one battery.I feel like it should have 2 batteries.It is actually easy to assemble and use.I have been wanting something like this but I have been so intimidated and afraid using power tools like this.I wanted to build a dragon fruit trellis.Finally, I have to purchase this, plus the combo price is very reasonable.Just built my first dragon fruit trellis and I'm so proud of myself.I wish I had purchased this a long time ago.I highly recommend this, if you like doing some little projects around the house.

Easy to put blades in and to operate. I wasn't expecting much at this price but this little circular saw has plenty of speed and power. I cut a few landscaping timbers to the length I needed and some plywood as well. Done with my project in 30-45minutes. Love it.

Works great! Battery lasts quite awhile. Love having it handy in my truck.

Pros: DAY 1: As a novice DIY improvement gal, I was so excited to see that a circular saw can comfortably hold in my hand. It had a remedial course laser guide to help me cut straight lines without knicks or rough edges! My ex was a professional carpenter so I knew the basics of not forcing the blades and just letting it glide like a hot knife to a pat of butter. Okay.. Cutting straight was always a challenge with a heavy and bulky circular saw and this was the PERFECT solution!I was getting all my DIY projects DONE faster as this gadget gave me the confidence to complete them accurately! The laser feature suddenly stopped working, and I assumed the battery died and I needed it to recharge. No biggie, it was getting late and I figured I needed to stop to prevent mishaps.DAY 2: 15 hours later...I was putting up panel boarding and decided to change the blade for a smoother finish. It was EASY to do for a gal that has no carpentry experience. I popped the blade on, popped the fully charged battery on, and turned on the laser. It didn't work?!!! I flipped the switch countless times, and no dice! Fine, I will do without, and they have these measuring gauges and stabilizers on the saw that also help. I am ready to cut, flip the lock switch, and pull the trigger.... NOTHING!!! It was dead! It would hiccup and move for a nanosecond and then stop. I popped the battery on and off many times, and the darn thing did not work!? I thought the blade was on wrong. Screw it too tight? I tried everything and reread the instructions. It was not me, it was a 2 day new gadget that crapped out! I am returning it, and I decided that Cheap is good, but good quality isn't cheap! I decided to upgrade to a Dewalt handheld circular saw since they last forever! So sad as I LOVED this thing when it was working!

Nice little tool.. had a diy job to do (laminate flooring)and this tool was really useful no complaints here. let’s see if it lasts..

The circular saw would only move about 3/8" when triggered. After several minutes of triggering the saw the connection was made and it worked. I kept doing this and would let it run for a couple of minutes when it would work and the trigger contact improved. I just tried it again this morning, and the trigger worked correctly 4 out of 4 times. I will use it this weekend and see how if performs. Also, I ordered this product specifically because it was a Prime delivery and would deliver on Saturday. I had a project 30 miles away on Sunday and needed these saws. The saws delivered late on Sunday and I did not have them for my project on Sunday morning. I was not very happy about that. Late deliveries seem to be increasing on my Prime deliveries over the past couple of months. I will write a follow up review after I have used both saws.
