Had two other camera/treat dispensers and both broke down within 6 months. This one is well constructed and sturdy, and has an internal auger that moves the treats down into the "launch" chamber. Works perfect every time and has lasted for quite a while now. Easy set up too.

This is one of the best things I’ve purchased for my dog(other than health insurance).Unlike the other brands where you have to pay a subscription service to use them, this costs nothing but the original purchase price.Buy it, Connect it to WIFI, and stalk your dog all day while you’re at work! Pros:- Treat dispenser- Camera quality- Price- Not needing to pay a subscription for the app (unlike other versions of this product)Cons:- If being able to speak with your pet through the product does not matter to you, then this is perfect. Otherwise, the volume is too low. I think I'd need to scream through my phone to get a normal speaking volume through the product.Suggestions:- Increase the volume to chat with our pets.- Have a smaller hole for the treats to be evenly distributed when dispensed, right now the area that is fed treats is large and if you are using small training treats, it would shoot out a few at once versus small rewards for good behavior.

Great way to dispense treats from anywhere. You can check on your pets while on vacation and see them, talk to them, hear them, and take pictures. Well worth the money for the peace of mind your pets are OK.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This thing is an absolute piece of junk. Save your money don’t buy this. There are far more similar items on the market that you can buy instead and have optimal results.To begin, it’s abnormally large and I had a bad feeling about it upon opening it. I look at the directions, take it out of the box, etc and notice the DIRECTIONS have SPELLING ERRORS. Okay so first red flag. This is an aspect that companies double check to correct, but for some reason this company didn’t. Weird. Moving on, my next issue was I could not get the item to connect to the app. The app was set up so similarly that it was almost a replica of the iPhone 4 software if you know what I mean. Same keyboard, layout, etc. honestly I felt like this item was designed by an idiot. Even the “keyboard” that popped up when I typed into the app would freeze, as if it really was that old junky iPhone 4 looking software. Next, it asks you to bring the bar code from your phone (located in the app) to the camera lens to capture the code for setup. It never would capture it. So I couldn’t even get it set up. By now I’m wanting to throw it out the window. Lastly, there are a lot of odd foreign words that came up while trying to set it up. Just a weird experience.Thankfully, I was able to return this and get my money back. However, it was a bad experience and I’d rather pay a monthly fee for a device such as Furbo then waste my time with this. Hope this helps!

It was so easy to set up to our phones!. My dogs love this treat thrower. Macy will give it a nudge when she wants me to throw treats. It lets me check on them while I'm at work and gives them fun interaction time. They now try to catch the treats as they come flying out! As you can see the picture and movie quality is so clear, it's like your right there in the room with them. We bought this a couple of years ago and it's still going strong! 100% would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. If you press the button by the WiFi signal, treats load up and launch. I’m watching my cat shove his paws into the launch hole while he head-butts the button until it launches a treat over and over. I was surprised to see that the treats were gone within days when I heard a “ding dong” and it fired away. He just about factory reset it and I had to remove and add it back to the app.Great device, but I have to tape something over the WiFi button to stop this all day treat buffet madness.

I saw a similar product in my friend’s house, after quite a bit research I decided to go with this Owlet Home dog camera for my dog. We Love it!Literally it took less than 3 mins to set up. You could do treat dispense via App, or manual push button, it takes couple seconds for a treat to be dispensed. You could pre-record your voice to replace the default treat sound. It’s so COOL!My dog is happy! Now, every time, when I am away from home and I speak to him via this dog camera, he runs to the camera looking for the treats.One more thing I like this product is that it’s very easy to move around the house after you do the first setup to connect to the wifi. You could put in on the ground or in the shelf or hang it on the wall. I regularly move this dog camera around to different places of my house to get different views of my dog during the day and night, and it has NO problems to reconnecting to my wifi at all.One potential set back of this product is that it only works with 2.4GHz Wifi, not 5GHz. But I have dual bands, so not a problem for me.If you have an Amazon Alexa device( I have 3 ), this Owlet Home dog camera works great to toss a treat by your voice instruction. We love this! You need to ask Alexa to “Stop” otherwise it will keep tossing treats to your dog.I have never had a problem with screenshot, video streaming, talking via this product, unless I move it to a place with a very poor wifi signals. The picture and video stream recording can be saved to your phone. It’s very easy to share with your friends and family. We are so happy with this purchase!And the best of all, they provide 1-year warranty and excellent customer service. It just so nice to have customer support from a real company that based in the US.
