Great gloves
These gloves are awesome for skiing. They keep your hands warm and are well designed. Extremely pleased with this purchase. Bought for my daughter and son and they both say they are the warmest ski gloves they have ever owned.

Hestra, where have you been all my life?
The best feature about these gloves (besides the separated finger) is the breathability. They kept my hands dry, warm, and comfortable from about 30f down to about 18f. I have not tried them below that, but I'm sure they will work fine. The key with any glove is to make sure you arms are also warm. If your arms are not warm, the blood going to your hands will not be warm, and your hands will not be able to warm that blood even in the warmest gloves.Anything over about 30f, I have to remove them on the lift and let my hands cool off. I wore them for a full day with night skiing, with snow falling the entire time in the PNW, and my hands stayed dry and warm the entire time. I am in love with these gloves!

Warm, completely windproof
These keep your hands toasty warm and I can certify that in 50 mph winds you don't feel an iota of cold air coming in. They also breath very well. Excellent gloves

Much better than the cheaper versions...
I've tried probably a dozen different gloves around the $20 - $50 price range, all claiming to keep your hands warm in below 20℉ temperatures but none actually did. After having freezing fingers snowblowing yet again, I finally decided to spend the money on what are supposed to be really great for low temperatures.I just used these Hestra mittens for the first time and I have to say, they performed much better than any of the other gloves I've tried. It was 28℉ and I was outside for about 20 minutes. My pointer finger did start to get a little cold maybe 3 or 4 minutes before I finished, which isn't too bad. All of the others I've tried, my fingers were cold within a minute or less.I'm only giving these 4 stars for now as temperatures here can get down to zero or less and based on today's test, I'm not sure how they will handle the really, really cold temps. I may need to also wear liners with these for those cold days.

The warmest I have tried so far
These gloves are large and tall. Don't misunderstand me, they are not too big - sizing is as expected. While not inexpensive these are likely the warmest gloves my hands have tried. Nice to have the clips to keep them together when not in use and I definitely like the wrist band which keeps the glove by your hand if you need to take it off for a minute to do something. The leather conditioner included is a nice touch but it is kind of small. You will eventually want to buy more to keep the gloves working for you.

Comfortable and warm!
Have always been a glove person as they’re easier with the googles and glove straps for me. The tri finger thing works fantastic. Gloves are very warm and comfortable- I like the straps. Gloves are worth the $.
